Good morning ☕ You have a lovely studio, well thought out! I love it!❤ The small Arrow ironing mat is so nice, I received one with my new cabinet and I use it more than I thought I would. I use it for short seams at my machine to save time, I don't know what's in it but I get really flat seams..it's much better than my wool mat that I do not like. When hubby had our garage converted into my sewing/ craft studio I thought wow so much room! LOL.. I have zero wall space and enough room to walk, amazing how fast it filled up. The last piece to fit was my Husky 72" tool box I got last Dec.😂 Thank you for the tour, I love your space! 😊

Thanks for the tour! I couldn't live without the TV in my space :) However, I use a fire stick/chrome stick in lieu of a smart TV. Works great as I mostly use it for spotify or youtube :)

Something I found helpful in my “she den” (hubby dubbed scary room) is at my ironing station. I found I always need more light, so I plugged a lamp into a power strip with my iron. When I close up shop for the day, I shut off the lamp with the power strip switch, and if the lamp is off I know for sure my iron is off too. I have managed to reduce the number of times I have had to replace my irons with this simple tip. Irons have gotten sooooo freaking expensive to replace.

Your she-shed is beautiful and so functional. You and Mark did a wonderful job being resourceful. I’m trying to get there. I really like the metal rack from Wayfair. I have so many carts that are wobbly when fully. Looking for carts on wheels that can take the weight of fabrics when the drawer is full. The IKEA frames are wobbly when there is heavy weight.

Nice work space! I wish I had just a bit more room but 2025 I plan to use down my stash enough to make it a bit less crowded. The room isn’t too small but there are three doors and two windows so not a ton of wall space and my quilting supplies share space with my acrylic painting supplies. As of now, I don’t have my second machine/embroidery unit and supplies in there but they will be moving in soon.

Your she shed is a wonderful, creative space! I got some ideas for my sewing room that's in disarray at the moment. I've been debating on how to organize my rulers and I like your ruler board. My space has cubes halfway up the wall so it has a lot of space for hanging. I have a new scan and cut that I haven't removed from the box. I want to learn to cut applique. The goal is to cut and scan the design and use the scan file to applique with my embroidery machine. I'm avoiding the learning curve. Maybe 2025 will be the year for me too :)

I’m not sure of the shed dimensions. It was here when we moved here. My area is approximately 13’x16’ but there’s another 5’x13’-ish area on one end that is garden tools, etc only accessible from the outside.
