I didn't notice that the underdog boots had a back stay shaped like a coke bottle...that is pretty cool. I am seriously thinking of getting a engineer boot. Brian really helped to get me interested in boots and customizing them. He does such beautiful work...this guy is a artist.

For those who are taking interest in design and creative process, Brian shared amazing designing philosophies and his journey on learning the art form. Mad respects @BrianTheBootmaker. Hopefully one day I can wear your boots

The most chill interview ever. 😂 But I enjoyed it! Brian is a special dude in the bootmaking world. His comments on the cut of the jacket were astute, and you can tell that all his focus goes into design and crafting. He's mellow and soft-spoken, but his eyes got real sharp when you were talking about your loafer. I look forward to wearing some of his boots someday!

How did Brian build the boot to your size? Did you travel to him or send him a sizing sketch?
