Pro life tip: lending money to someone will eventually lead to the end of that relationship
@magi267Ай бұрын
Yeah, if you lend money to family or friends make sure it's money you can afford to lose. If they pay you back, all we'll and good. If not, well weigh your relationship.

Yeah I know from personal experience. I'm a woman and I made the mistake of loaning a friend's Mother £5K. She did pay me back (with no interest), but my friend then started to ask me for loans for huge amounts of 5K for her to write a book, 5K for her to go on holiday to LA, and would I be her Guarantor to cover her £50K worth of bad debts she owned numerous creditors? I said no to all the other loans, as I realised I had a lucky escape, as my 'Friend' was spending more than what she was earning, and I realised she was looking for a dummy to pay all her debts. I had known her for 21 years, and when she got married, I was not even asked to be her bridesmaid. I felt a right mug, but would have felt more of a mug if she put all her debt on me.

My friend had the same prob. Her back street mechanic who finally charged a wodge which she couldn't really afford. I made her take her little car to my great garage who inspected it and found the awful man had put loads of odd parts underneath! She finally gave it to a s/h dealer, a goodie who put a bit of money in and finally sod it for 5 figures. Use proper mechanics!!! SA
