Dearborn was originally in the 50s an all-white racist community then Chaldeans Christian Arabs started moving in and then eventually it turned into a parallel community of muslim origin!

Yes, Michigan has the largest Shia Muslim(Shia Islam) population. And Dearborn and Dearborn Heights has a majority Shia Muslim population especially Middle Eastern Shia Muslims.

Dearborn is city suburbs of detroit michigan population of around 100 thousand, the vast majority of the residents are arab shia muslims mainly from lebanon and iraq and there are notable amount of sunnis like from Yemen and palestine and you can also find non arabs muslims, Dearborn heights a nearby dearborn have residents of around 55,000 thousands the majority are also arab Shia muslims like Dearborn they even have a mayor whose arab shia and of course small communities of arab sunni muslims and non arab muslims. There is also a city called hamtramck also a suburb of detroit population around 25 thousand with the majority being sunni muslims from south asia (Pakistanis, Indians Bangladesh) there are a few arabs over there and the shia muslims are a few. If you wanna look at it at a wider picture like metro detroit area the population is around 4 million, there are at least 350 thousand of them who are arabs, as for the muslim population It might be 450 thousand and there is a good chance the majority like 55% of them are shia.
