One way to make GM mode more fun and realistic is setting everyone to the specialist class in the setup. This way classes doesn’t matter between brands and popularity is more dependent on your ratings.

That’s smart I may do that for my MyGM, because I am fine with all these changes but I’m tired of matches like John cena vs the rock getting low ratings because of their classes

You can't play a match that has a Run-In. Also, these are some of the classes that have good chemistry together. Bruiser-Fighter, Cruiser-Giant, and Specialist can go well with anyone. Don't forget to do baby face vs heels as well 🤟

Hey man, from what I've learned through my few playthroughs: You're never going to win if you don't match people who are perfect class matches AND are in high rivalries. Until then, you're gonna keep getting low ratings. Right now, you need to use one promo slot a week on advertising and another on self promos for a specialist of your choice. At a certain point in the year, you'll lose fans at every weekly show regardless of ratings, so you'll need to use 2-3 charity promos at a PPV with high popularity stars to actually make fans.

It’d be dope if you started as like an nxt or performance center gm and then could improve by getting points and buy packs to get legends, match types, or plus attributes for your roster etc. sort of like madden ultimate team or something. Just a thought.

It's not, regret buying it. The graphics are awesome but the gameplay is very arcade-ish and the game is very glitchy right now. So I would suggest wait until they fix it. That's just my opinion though...iI enjoyed the old gameplay style with chain grappling and all the other things that made the matches more life like. I'm still playing 2K18

Hell nah I ended up preordering it right before the day it released. I paid like 60$ and still got the Undertaker pack. But the game give me a nostalgic feel and a decent balance between arcade and simulation. It's not slow, your player can run without ever getting tired too. The pace consistent and the career mode got a lot of variety to it.
