Tonga is a small Island in the South Pacific. So big props to Pita doing 3 Olympic sports👏 He makes us islanders proud to know we even have someone to represent our little island🇹🇴 Most of our pacific islanders are all over the world representing other countries for example: Valerie Adams who has 3 Gold & 2 Silver medals in shot put. And her brother Steven Adams who plays for the Oklahoma Thunders basketball team in the U.S. We have talent everywhere. So dont try to be little our people because im sure there are other people not representing there own countries💯

At the very least, less than 5% of the competition qualifies to compete at an Olympic level. To be able to compete in a sport, as an Olympian, puts a man at great odds. Qualifying for 3? At this point, what does “cool” even mean to you?

Isaiah Tupou I totally agree; but I think it’s definitely wayyyyyy less than 5% because that’s 1 in 20 and not 1 in 20 athletes become an Olympian. More like one in 1000 or something but I have no clue
