I used to be overweight and people thought I was pregnant all the time lol. I was unhappy but I had gotten sucked into the body positively community. I thought I'd find a man who loved my bigger body, he was out there somewhere. However, one day I was on Reddit and I found a post about what type of body men actually like and men were sharing photos of celebrities and models, ect... I looked through all the photos hoping to see a body like mine but I couldn't find one, just comments about how they didn't like fat women. I cried after that realising the harsh truth (that I had always known but didn't want to actually admit to myself). The next day I went on a diet and I stuck with it and lost loads of weight, and what do you know about a year after my weight lose I finally have a bf lol : )

When I was thin and pretty, I constantly had people in public settings do nice things for me like hold doors for me, and people were always real sweet and nice to me anywhere I went. Since I gained 60 pounds, that has completely flipped upside down. It's actually quite shocking how differently I'm treated now. I remember listening to Joe Rogans podcast when he had on Russell Crowe and he said he lost a ton of friends after he gained some weight. And this isn't the system, it isn't toxic masculinity, it's just pure biology and the world that we live in whether we like it or not, and no amount of complaining is going to change that. If this is the reality, and I'm not willing to do anything about my appearance, then that's a personal problem. Granted, I don't think you should treat people like garbage or unfriend them just because they're unattractive, but there's not much we can do about how others treat eachother. :P

this video reminded me that i recently saw a video on instagram where a girl was saying how women dont oggle at men or get thirsty while seeing them. like girl... do you have a sex drive? are you even attracted to men? we ladies LOVE to see a hot man jog by without a shirt on.. the only difference is respect. lots of men think its okay to have no respect and say nasty things to make women feel uncomfortable. women love a sexy man as much as men love sexy women... i just went on a trip to NYC and me and my girlfriends couldnt stop talking about all the hot men! we are human... its normal and healthy to be attracted to the opposite sex. i dont know why its so taboo. the only part missing nowadays is respect about it
