We will have to adapt. The world and its weather is ever changing. Has been doing this from the beginning before human influence. Its all very fasinating. Living in BC Canada, i love the warmer weather that El Nino brings. The last 3 winters have been harsh, cold and windy. Today Dec 21/23 Its 5C and green, I love it!

Always keep in mind that when recorded temps are quoted they only go as far back as the 1860's. As stated here the El Nino/La Nina have been happening for at least the last 500 years that we know of. This vid doesn't mention the heating of the sea bed by tectonic activity below the earths crust which we have absolutely no effect on. It's just our planet doing what it does & always will do.

@@Encephalitisify No. The 1.5 degree rise is a global average. Most of the warming is at the poles, (5 - 7 degrees higher on average so far) which lessens the temperature difference between the pole and the rest of the globe. This makes the jet streams more wavy, drawing warmer air towards the poles at times and colder air towards the warmer areas at times. This makes local weather more erratic and extreme. So in your area you will experience much hotter times and much colder times, much wetter, much drier. And sometimes, for now, average weather. As the planet heats up, we can expect the hotter times to dominate even local areas.

When Vancouver BC hosted the 2010 Winter Olympics, it was an El Nino year, and it was absurdly warm with little to no snowfall that winter, which made for quite a bit of problems with the snowier events . Not to mention the lack of a spring melt that led to one of the warmer and drier abd earlier springs and a much hotter summer that year.

This holiday system, when I heard Bing Crosby's song, "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas", I'd jokingly say outloud, "Dream on! It's an El Nino Year!" Anyhow, on Christmas Day here in Ohio just 10 miles or south of the Great Lakes snow belts (famous for cold, snowy winters), I was outside feeding my rabbits and chickens & collecting eggs wearing nothing but a flannel shirt. Yesterday, I went outside and harvested some collards, kale and chard that were still growing in my garden (It's January & they're actually still green & growing). If this continues, next year I think I'll start raising citrus, pineapples, coconuts and dates. (-:Just kidding. LOL:-) I just glanced at my weather ap on my computer and the temperature is currently reading @ 12:30 PM EST, 1 degree F (.5 degree C for those on the metric scale) below freezing (31 F or -.5 C). Usually in the teens or twenties "F" for highs this time of year. WOW! Actually a slightly chilly day today, don't you think?

0:56, "...El Nino heating the water BY 32.4 to 32.9 degrees Fahrenheit! I knew this was just plain ridiculous, so looked it up. (Wikipedia and other sources with minimal variations) "However, the Japan Meteorological Agency declares that an El Niño event has started when the average five month sea surface temperature deviation for the Niño 3 region, is over 0.5 °C (0.90 °F) warmer for six consecutive months or longer." Note the decimal points, so we're talking a less than 1° warming, be it Fahrenheit or Celsius. Very far from a warming BY 32.4° etc. In publishing there are people called proof readers who check this sort of thing before printing. Sadly missing in KZbin contributors.

Just a word of sanity here. I have been watching the enso figures for about 20 years now. This latest el nino presents every semblance of being the weakest, shortest el nino on record. Approximately one month long, and a maximum strength of 0.6 (1990 el nino - give or take 5 years, maximum strength of 2.0). I guess it could do a U-turn and actually become a strong el nino, but at this time that is not looking likely - the more probable near future looks to be a return to la nina.

Here is the electrical outage that happened in Texas recently and also use the emergency in New Orleans/Katrina caused problems. If you and your family can survive this type of emergency, then unless you are nuclear bombed, you will be OK. The temperature conversions from centigrade to fahrenheit in this video are incorrect. La Niña events are indicated by sea-surface temperature decreases of more than 0.5 degrees Celsius (0.9 degrees Fahrenheit) for at least five successive three-month seasons. Surface ocean temps during La Nina 1988 dropped temeratures about 4 degrees Celcius (7 degrees Ffahrenheit.)

I couldn't get through the first 2min, 16sec with out stopping the vid in complete disbelief. Because at the 2:16 mark the thermal map is incorrect for the topic (La Nina) in fact it show a thermal map of a Le Nino. The second point is the water temp should have been stated and noted that the water temp can decrease from an average of 41f to 37f or 5c to 3c. It was at this point that after studding this subject for years I simply had to move on. I would Strongly recommend to anyone that sees this vid do some homework of there own on the topic as there are a number of vids out there with a much higher degree of accuracy.

The summary of climate change is easy. It is the change of humidity in atmosphere, which produce between the (land)and the(seas & oceans) on the other hand... Occurring of rains, snow, storms, and floods at time and in unexpected places, confirm my theory(the change in the directions of winds)which must be balanced... How to reduce the heat of the earth and atmosphere? We must supply the earth with a natural cooling places... Results: ---------- 1- To balance the water vapor which produces between the( ground)and the(seas and oceans )... 2- To balance the pressures of the air in the atmosphere... 3- To balance the directions of winds which caused the climate change... 4- To control upon the storms and harricans... 5- To revive the the first theory of climate change (dynamic horizontal movement). 6- To balance the percentage of gases forming the atmosphere. NOTE :The lack of water vapor is of land not of seas and oceans... These studies had completed and sent on July 26th 2000... Yousif A Tobiya

@@JustAnotherAccount8 I live here in Perth and have so for the past 10 years. The heat is 100per cent rising. Talk of the town. A few days ago we experienced a complete dry storm with red lightning bolts all throughout the city that lasted over an hour and a half. For locals, this is not normal at all. Over east you guys are experiencing rain and humidity. Over here, we are experiencing heat that like I said, does not match the temperature. If you wanna ask someone, call a friend in Perth.

But about earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, sinkholes, tsunami, dry lakes and rivers, flow of water from the mountains and hills, explodeand of eyes water from the ground, formation of new mountains or islands, collaps of mountains ,and cracks on ground,& ,& ,&,they are out of control or balance... Mother nature is very fickle and may not always behave as we predict. So far El Nino is not showing effects as expected last fall. It may be that we will see a record devastating heat wave instead of heavy snow or heavier rainfall.

I dont have mains water and ran out of water in the house 3,,,,4 times... lucky I have more than 1 tank of water. My point being the previous 4 years got hotter and drier each year.... the dry cycle has started again this year 2023....cow farts arent the problem, plastics are and he sun dicatates the weather....scientists have showen us that temp, rises of years of 50 degrees plus have happend in the past with out car polution etc..there were no fossil fuels. humans need to reorganise, it maybe to late with WW3 happening

Can you please try to correct your temperature values. At 8:58 the video gives 37.4 degrees F as equivalent to 3 degrees C. Is this a temperature value or a temperature difference? If it's a temperature value, then it's very low, just above freezing. I don't think that's what you mean. I think you mean a temperature difference; if so then the Celsius equivalent of 37.4 Fahrenheit degrees of warming is 20.8 Celsius degrees.

Lost of (????)L daily as a form of vapor of water from the ground, has a big effect to rise or reduce of temperature by veiling the rays of the sun,and decreasing the earth's radiation... Vapor condensation creates clouds that veil the sun totally, earth and atmosphere ... This a mount of water vapor became produced from(seas and oceans)... This means, the percentage of water vapor which produced from the ground and the (seas&oceans )is difficult... This means the pressures of the air in the atmosphere are different too... This case means the change in the directions of winds, which some called climate change and some called global warming, and then NINO and then LANINA, and this year they called global cooling... Results : These directions of winds, must be balanced... These studies had completed and sent on July 26th 2000... Yousif A Tobiya
