Correlation is not causation. Makes more sense that unhealthy people make unhealthy decisions, like not brushing their teeth.

This broad stroke Scientific rule isn't very useful with this Topic. An optimal male sex life unequivocally involves an optimal circulatory system-> harmful oral bacteria (like Streptococcus) has been found to be able to travel through the bloodstream to the heart-> by definition this is preventing "optimal" cardiovascular function.

Causation vs correlation? Need to be careful about these, did they exclude smokers for example? Smoking is very bad for your gums and also your cardio respiratory health.

I would say high speed internet porn is probably a higher cause of ED per Gary Wilson's TED talk

Stress, low physical activity, the fact that 30% of people in the UK/Ireland are obese, and then there's the people who are overweight, heavily medicated etc.. But somehow 30/40 % of cardiovascular disease is because of oral hygiene??? Yes there is a connection between oral hygiene and heart disease but this is a bit of a stretch.

Interesting. Americans usually go to the dentist very regularly. Wonder if that was considered in her study.

Yo, host. Challenge the research by asking questions about the specific population studied. 😅 Like are they already unhealthy

What's next we should all be getting paranoid about? When it's one thing after another, we end up doing nothing because we can't do everything. We've only been brushing our teeth better in recent years. Before that, it was pretty basic and unhygienic, and the world population's going up, not down. I'm getting tired of scare-mongering, no matter what these experts say.

0:37 Yes, we know, people with bad oral health tend to have other health problems. If you can't maintain basic mouth hygiene, you arent taking care of the rest of your body, either. Look at people who live to be 100 in places like Sardinia or similar. You think these simple people in a village are obsessing over their teeth and gums? It's all to sell you more stuff that you "need" to be healthy.
