Remember: SJP was treated as the 'star' of the show, and she got more pay and creative control of her character. In my opinion, this was an ensemble cast, each character contributed significantly to the story. SJP could have led the cast to pressure the producers for equal pay and creative control, but she did not do this, since she obviously did not consider them her equal. The cast of 'Friends' demanded and got this equality because they stuck together. The cast of 'Friends' were actual friends in real life. The cast of SATC were colleagues, nothing more. This is why SJP comes off as a phony, pretending she is a friend.

thats not what kim said. its about age. kim is far older than the others and was in a different head space then the others when the show started. the girls would hang out with each other after work and bond and kim would go home to her family. once they built that friendship they would hang out in each other's dressing rooms and leave kim all on her lonesome. It’s annoying to me when people think that 2 celebrities who did a show or movie together HAVE to be friends in real life. And if they’re not, they dislike each other. It’s just WORK. They’re costars which is just another word for entertainment colleagues. Are you friends with coworkers or people u worked with 10, 15, 20 years ago? For the most part, no. It doesn’t mean u hate them or that there’s any beef, it just means that the thing that bonded or connected u (working at the same place) is gone. Same as old classmates. If u see each other of course u might speak or catch up with them, maybe add them on Facebook or whatever, but it doesn’t make you real life FRIENDS. Ur not inviting each other to ur weddings and baby showers, because the relationship just isn’t that deep. That’s all. People gotta act like people in Hollywood aren’t still regular people.

Blaming Kim for the S and C movie not filmed is silly. The movie can still be done. They can say the character of Samantha is on a world tour. She does work in public relations (on the show). Kim Cattrall's charisma is natural and the camera loves her, so if she stole a scene it was natural. There are several celebrities like that. She seems confident in real life too and that can rub certain women wrong. That's what causes cliques in every business. You are right. They need to let it go and move on. Did you see the interview with Andy Cohen where she slips out that she had been talking to him about it all week? So why did he ask her how she felt on the show if it was not planned? SJP has plenty of projects she is working on she can talk about. Work colleagues are not always personal friends.

Why does this mean there can never be another reunion tho? I’m confused. I’ve been saying this for years. They can do another movie and just make the opening scene at Samantha’s funeral. Her character battled breast cancer off and on the show, so her dying would be an organic and realistic transition for the fans. It’s not like they can do a movie and just pretend Samantha Jones never existed. It can definitely be done to satisfy everyone involved.
