Once I really understood Albert Camus's work, it allowed me to transform my life. There's a equation early on in this video that everyone seems to make, but which isn't necessarily true. The universe refuses to give us answers = the universe is cold and indifferent. Not so. A parent doesn't answer their child's homework for them, not because they DON'T care, but because they DO care (about their growth and development)

‘Life’ lives us. Life lives us through the primal act of breathing; It keeps company with us until our ‘final moments’ when, (without so much as a, ‘by your leave’) It exhales us into night. It is a most confounding, ineffable and strange Mystery. Does a Mystery have to have ‘a point?’ Does a,- snowdrop in frost, have to have a meaning? Thanks Nexus for your thought-provoking videos. The belief that Life is pointless is absurd. The reality is that without Life the universe is pointless and meaningless.

I appreciate your perspective! It's so exciting and hits on Absurdism's idea of the tension between our search for meaning and the universe's indifference. Absurdism suggests life lacks inherent meaning, but many, like you, argue that life gives meaning to the universe. It's just fascinating to explore these different viewpoints. Thanks a lot for sharing!

Its not belief but reality....universe is always pointless and meaningless and same is life because life is a subset of universe....

That is the point, the universe is meaningless and does not know nor care that we are here. Our only purpose is to recreate ourselves- the survival of our species. We are just smart enough to try to enjoy the journey.

So, if your only purpose is to recreate yourself, I pressume you have about 50-100 children by now?

Thanks for sharing! The idea that survival and finding joy in the journey are our primary purposes aligns with Absurdism. It suggests that life doesn't have inherent meaning but encourages us to create our meaning despite that. It's interesting how we strive to find purpose in uncertainty

@@mirekcerny2081 I can’t imagine why you would think I would have so many children !!. To recreate ourselves is to keep our species alive. That’s what all creatures do especially humans who are just another type of primate and this origin shows itself more readily in some people than in others !!!

Only reality is: nothing actually matters....the day we people understand this, there will be no war, quarrel, tensions, politics, anxieties, jealousy, but only peace and peace everywhere....

What gives every man his place in the universe is that God loves him, personally. That makes one man more important than the whole universe combined, taken materially. It is just universe without God that is absurd; but such universe does not exist.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the importance of a personal connection with God. It's fascinating how different philosophies offer unique ways of finding purpose in life. I appreciate your insight!
