Autoimmune diseases can significantly impact the health and function of the eyes, giving rise to a range of ocular manifestations and diseases. The immune system's misdirected attack on its own tissues can lead to inflammation and tissue damage within various eye structures. Conditions such as uveitis, Sjogren's syndrome, and Graves' disease exemplify the many ways autoimmune disorders affect the eyes. Uveitis, a severe form of inflammation within the eye, can result in redness, pain, and blurred vision. Sjögren's syndrome often leads to severe dry eyes and dry mouth due to immune-mediated damage to tear and salivary glands. In Graves' disease, an overactive thyroid caused by autoimmune responses can induce bulging eyes and eyelid retraction, potentially impacting vision and causing discomfort. These intricate connections between autoimmune processes and ocular health underscore the necessity of comprehensive care that addresses both systemic and eye-specific symptoms, enabling patients to better manage these complex conditions.

I'm a Medical Doctor ( physician) by God's grace and I've researched a lot about dry eyes symptoms over the years because I noticed how frequent it was becoming ( the computer age is a big culprit) . Although there's no evidence of underlying autoimmune conditions ( in most affected people), I found these important things to consider and would recommend it to you all: 1. Vitamin D deficiency is associated associated with dry eyes and so that should be ruled out, especially for those living in countries with limited sun exposure.Vitamin D supplements would be helpful if that's the case ( OTC vitamin D supplements are available but do not exceed 4,000 IU per day to avoid vit D toxicity, although it's very rare and would take several months for that to happen). 2.. Dehydration - drink enough water per day. Eat enough fruits and veggies 3. Eat diets rich in omega 3 like flaxseed oil etc or take omega 3 supplements . Also eat foods reach in vitamin A eg carrots , moringa has one of the highest vit A components ( more than carrot) etc. 4. Reduce sun exposure to your eyes nad wear sun glasses just as you wear sunscreen on your body 5. BLINK often - due to the internet age, we continuous use devices and forget to blink . Try to limit exposure to these devices by resting your eyes. Meibomian gland atrophy is associated with bad device use habits . Do some eye massages like with essential oils like jojoba oil , almond oil, olive or even coconut oil ( do not put the oil into your eyes ! ) 6. Wash eyes out with slightly cold water or do a cold compress ( close eyes as you dip your eyes in cold water cupped in palm ). 7. Use swim goggles when entering into pools or swimming in the sea or any unknown fresh water bodies 8. There's a condition called ocular laboropthalmus ( involuntary eye opening during sleep) which in turn leads to dry eyes. There's a milder form called inadequate lead seal ( has several causes like thyroid eye disease, facial palsies, trauma and cosmetic procedures, but may even be ' normal' if a person has normally large eye balls) can also cause dry eyes especially after waking up from a long sleep or even a nap. You may need things that keep your eyes closed like sleeptite etc . Someone even uses cello tape for this 😅. Get the right sleep goggles though. 9. Get eyedrops for symptomatic relief that target tear production, healing of the cornea and even improves meibomian gland health. I'd recommended this Hylo night eye drops ( it has bit A and corrects dry eyes symptoms 98% ,lasts for 6 months after opening and contains NO preservatives. But it may contain peanut oil so avoid if you are allergic, apart from that it's the best . You can get it from your local pharmacy if available or amazon or online pharmacies ). You may consider other alternatives by checking the list of reviewed different types of eye drops by renowned US optometrists. www.reviewofcontactlenses.com/article/from-basics-to-biologics-selecting-drops-for-every-dry-eye-patient Avoid eye drops with preservatives especially if you use them more than 4 times per day BUT Benzalkonium chloride and thimerosal formulations should be avoided at all costs. www.reviewofcontactlenses.com/article/from-basics-to-biologics-selecting-drops-for-every-dry-eye-patient 10. If the above lifestyle modifications doesn't help. Get tested for any underlying conditions like autoimmune conditions, thyroid diseases etc. All the best , God bless you and peace ✌️

@@kday9438 I’m not the doctor, but Restasis is supposed to be effective because it treats the inflammation which causes the symptoms, the dry eyes and dry mouth. Whereas , eyedrops only treat the symptoms and not the cause, which is the inflammation, It’s not an option for me, unfortunately, because it’s too expensive ($500 per month) and my insurance doesn’t cover it until I satisfy my deductible ( which is $9,100). If you can afford it, or if your insurance covers it, I would definitely recommend trying it. I would if it was an option for me. I have Sjogrens Syndrome and my eyes are bone dry. I heard it takes like 9 months though before it starts being effective, just so you know. In the meantime, for me, I’ve taken out foods from my diet that are inflammatory and added Onega 3’s, with an EPA between 1,000-1,500, daily. Hope this helps if you get no response from the doctor.

@@M00159I have primary Sjogrens as well - was diagnosed in 2007 but feel like I had it from birth -I had to have my tear ducts manipulated however, they did that back in the 1960s almost immediately after I was born they were clogged I think I had frequent infections upper respiratory, a lot of dry coughs, frequent strep throat. I was born to a mother who had severe postpartum could not bond with me for six months we never were financially compromised. My family was in tact for a back of a lack of a better worm, but there was a lot of toxicity chaos and I was severely abused by an older sister on my life and I am 100% convinced that trauma and abuse is the root cause of all autoimmune diseases. Sjogrens is miserable. It is deteriorating my body, including my eyesight.
@M00159
@M00159 Жыл бұрын
@@Huckfintress I am sorry you had such a tough start in life, with childhood illnesses, issues with your mom and the abuse by your sister. I can’t imagine how hard that must have been for you. Unfortunately, we have zero control over the family we’re born into. Some people are born into an ideal family life with much love and money., while others are not so fortunate. In this regard, life is not fair. It boils down to the luck of the draw. Your point about autoimmune diseases being born out of trauma and abuse is an interesting one. It would be worthwhile for social/ medical scientists to study that and see if there’s a link. I didn’t suffer childhood trauma or abuse , but my mom always had health issues growing up, including rheumatoid arthritis, which is also autoimmune. So, there’s probably a genetic link. Stress may also play a role. I was a single parent and had a stressful job at the time I was diagnosed. I was always stressed out. My Sjogrens wasn’t diagnosed until I was in my late thirties. At least that’s when I noticed symptoms. It’s a terrible disease to deal with, but I know there are worse. My symptoms are mostly dry eyes. My mouth gets dry, too, but it mostly impacts my eyes. I keep up with dental appointments and cleanings to try and keep my teeth healthy, because, as you probably know, Sjogrens sufferers are prone to dental cavities due to the lack of enough saliva in the mouth. I also have regular eyes exams. I’ve never had joint pain or have had a rheumatologist as part of my medical team, only a primary care physician. So, all these years, I’ve been treating the symptoms . Biotine has an array of products for dry mouth symptoms and there are plenty of OTC eye drops and gels for dry eyes. The problem with eye drops is that the symptom relief is not long lasting. I’m constantly putting drops in my eyes all day long. But… I have just started a new eye drop I ordered from Amazon, and it’s noticeably more effective than anything I’ve tried so far. I can immediately feel the quality of the drop in my eyes and am truly impressed with the relief I get from the dryness. The eyedrops are called, Viscosan, Lubricant Eye Drops, put out by a company called, AGEPHA PHARMA, out of the Slovak Republic. More expensive than Systane eyedrops or the like found at your local Walmart, around $14.00 for a .34 fl oz. bottle. But BOY is it worth it. These drops provide relief that I’ve never been able to find before in any other eye-drop. What a difference. Lastly, and I’ll end this lengthy comment, is the fact that Sjogrens is progressive. It can affect major organs such as the lungs, liver and kidneys. I say this because you need to monitor Sjogrens progression. I have noticed my breathing capacity isn’t what it used to be. I run out of breath when having a conversation. I don’t feel winded at all, I just find myself drawing an extra breath to finish my sentences. I attribute this to my Sjogrens affecting my lungs. Also, my pcp found protein in my urine, a sign of kidney damage. I now have a nephrologist for my kidneys. My kidney function is still normal at the moment, but with Sjogrens being progressive, I imagine I will need medication soon to control the protein leaking out in my urine. I’ve drastically changed my diet to plant based and limited my sodium and protein intake. So, at your next physical, make sure your doctor does a urine test to see if there’s any protein in your urine. Because, if there is, then it’s likely because of the Sjogrens. I do not have diabetes or high blood pressure, or dehydration, so I think the Sjogrens is beginning to affect my kidneys. Please monitor your Sjogrens. Best of luck to you.

Emergency Room doctors missed Autoimmune Temporal Arteritis in my mother which caused her to go blind in one eye and narrowed the field of vision in her remaining eye. This after she already reported that she had another Autoimmune disease (celiac disease). I personally have been dx with 3 Autoimmune disorders. Autoimmune disease is very serious yet most Doctors do not seem to be educated about the relationships between disease - as the old commercial says "buy one, collect them all".

I had to use different glasses every now and then with no changes to see right, I have had fibro over 25 yrs. Finally someone mentioned. The eye has muscles and since fibro is a muscular problem (pain) no wonder the eyes were bothered. So yes eyes are not left out of the body's disease problems.

This happens to me I have had serious anterior uveitis flares from rheumatoid arthritis. The first one was triggered when I had to get an abdominal CT and drank gastrografin contrast. I lost my vision for 4 weeks in both eyes. It required heavy daily doses of oral prednisone 60mg, steroid eye drops and dialating eye drops. It was very painful and I had to stay in a dark room. It took 5 weeks to get my complete vision back. I need a broad spectrum immune suppressant to keep my RA and uveitis controlled.

I've had some success in improving these kinds of issues. After getting lyme disease about 25 years ago, I've had all kinds of problems that are probably best classified as autoimmune, including periods of chronic dry eyes and full blown uveitis, requiring steroid eye drops. One of the most useful things I've found is fasting. I'm not sure what the mechanism is, but I'd guess either a rise in anti-inflammatory hormones during fasting, a lack of offending food components that might trigger autoimmune responses or lack of bacteria growing on food in the gut producing immune responses. Maybe a combination, who knows. All I know really is that if I start getting hints of eye issues that I'm familiar with, either dryness, or beginnings of uveitis, if I stop eating for a day or two, it seems to stop it from going any further and reset me. I also think there is likely an interplay with at least heavy metal toxicity if not other toxins, which are ubuiquitous now, even in new borns. I've done quite a bit of metals detox and it can cause uveitis flares, presumably from circulating mercury or whatever it is. When I first started I got flares, but once I got deeper in, I rarely feel uveitis flares coming on anymore, and dryness is also uncommon. Just be careful where you look for info on detoxification. It is mostly BS. Christopher Shade and Bryan Walsh seem like the smartest guys in the room on that subject and I've had good success with their stuff. Just be careful, you can't go too fast or it can cause harsh reactions. There doesn't seem to be a ton of information on eye issues and mercury but there is definitely some, including dry eyes. For me it started with an observation, so hard to say for sure how much it might be causative. Worth looking into and experimenting with though when there are not a lot of options for real solutions. At this point, I seem to have a handle on it, good luck everyone.

my dentist told me my dry mouth was the worse they had ever seen - i should brush 5 (FIVE!!!) times a day. it never occurred to them to suggest this a something that should be looked into and certainly did not think about sjogrens. I was astonished when i put the 2 together. It all about basic training for the multiverse of the dentis/opthalmologist/general practicioner, etc. I guess they can't know EVERYTHING! :) ...but I'd have thought they might have at least concidered sjogrens with such severe dry mouth.

I asked my doctor if it could be linked. My mum had RA. He said no. All medical staff examined my hands. And said no. I was given a blood test. Apprentice I am sero negative. 2008 I had both knees totally replaced simultaneously when the was 46. I was diagnosed with RA. Then the found it in my big toe joint. I have recovered from both now. I improved in the warmth and sunshine in Spain.

Great info in this video. I would add only that for anyone who is having symptoms of chronic fatigue and skin, eye, stomach problems to search for any black mould that may be in your bathroom or anywhere damp such as basements. It does not take much black mould at all to cause a lot of skin, eye and stomach issues.

You might consider Sjogren's Syndrome if you also have dry mouth/severe dental cavities, dry vagina or joint pain. 50% of Sjogren's occurs with another autoimmune disease like MS, RA, Lupus, etc. I got to the point where I couldn't wear contacts & had to get LASIK even though it's dangerous for dry eye patients. I insisted because I could NOT see: contacts were melting to my corneas & I was using canola oil to get them out. The doc made me get punctal plugs which apparently helped massively because my eyes are no longer foggy & blurry like before. Sjogren's causes all moisture producing glands in your body to dry out permanently including salivary glands, tear ducts, pancreas, synovial fluid in joints, etc. It increases lymphoma risk so good to know if you have it even though there's no specific treatment.

Hello Dr. Can you do a talk on ocular melanoma. My husband went for a normal check on his eyes and within 1 year the opticians thought it was some kind of lesion. Once seen by a consultant my hubby had his left eye removed! This is a more common than you think. At Sheffield the consulting areas were full of patients with the same condition cancer of the eye. Its not just a matter of having blue eyes it can happen to anyone. Long story short hubby had a prosthetic eye fitted. he can drive and work. Found it difficult at first as needed to get used to the shift in his balance. His right eye then had a bleed and had to have a course of injections in his eyeball. But all ok. Hubby has to have 6 monthly scans on his liver and eyes to make sure no metastasis. I had blurriness when seen at the opticians in my left eye. So whilst waiting for a consultant appointment i started taking MACUSAVE, all i can tell you this saved my eyesight. Good luck to everyone❤

Sorry doc, but you are making the erroneous generalization that all eye doctors are competent and actually give a rip about patient care. Many of us who live in more remote areas are left with amateur night eye doctors, who lack your knowledge and are not willing to refer their patients to a subspecialist when necessary. Moreover, the same bad actors do not keep up with their professional reading of pertinent medical literature. Your patients are fortunate to have access to you.

Wow, you hit the nail on the head with this comment. I've had an evisceration and countless bad encounters with eye doctors that had knowledge of what's really going on with me. I grew up in a moderately medical science affluent city, (Grand Rapids, MI) however, when it came to providing the total eye care that was needed for me they dropped the ball. I had a biopsy done on my lungs (2008) and it came back conclusive for 'workplace air contamination'. Right now I'm fighting like hell to keep my remaining eye healthy enough to remain somewhat independent. It doesn't help that I'm hyper allergic to oral steroids and a responder to topical steroids. I still use the topical steroids when needed. But, I've had a doctor actually storm out of the exam room while slamming the door and rattling the charts and startling other patients and coworkers in the process. This happened at a major eye treatment facility in Grand Rapids. It's hard as hell to receive the right eye care when your situation is unique to you. I do know this, I have to stay away from certain foods, wheat is especially one of them. Wheat will cause me to have a flare up in my sleep. Leaving me with permanently blurry vision if not treated with topical steroids.y metabolism has completely changed from what it used to be.

Totally agree! I have dry eye and have used contact lenses in the past, with moisturising drop, good hygiene and only used them for a few hours at a time for things that needed me to see lol, but glasses would slip or fall off which dries me nuts, or on a night out. never overnight. I’ve been hospitalised three times due to the serous nature of the uveitis, horrible experience, could keep my eye open, no way could I be in a room with a curtain open, tearing, anyway corneal ulcers that arose from this put me in hospital 3 times in a year and a half. It was put down to contact lenses even though I had not used contacts since my first ulcer. The auto immune basket was just too hard. New Zealand health care is bad, you can’t get specialist appointments at all. It’s just a joke. So you get bounced around and nothing is ever got a conclusion. I now have terrible vision and permanent double vision when driving, due to the distance you are focusing on in front of you, no double vision before a certain distance . Two positive ANA tests 320 speckled, results as well but the two were not connected. Easier to put it down to contact lenses that I didn’t even wear anymore! I have so many auto immune symptoms, but no one gives a shit. As a nurse I think I kinda understand as few things, yet I’m still not listened too. It’s sad.

Another telltale sign that demyelination has occurred at some point is the worsening of symptoms when body temperature increases. For example, if you notice that your vision deteriorates every time you have a fever, exercise vigorously or take a hot bath. This is known as Uhthoff's sign and is due to the fact that a small increase in temperature can reduce the conduction of nerve impulses when myelin has been damaged.

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis on December 11, 2003 at the age of 21 y/o. I had one previous episode 13 months earlier that involved my entire leg from my hips down to suddenly go numb, yet at the same time it was also like pins and needles. Twenty years ago on December 6th, I started losing my vision in my right eye. By December 8th, I had lost all vision in that eye. My PCP got me in with his good friend that specializes in the medical side of vision. He looked in my eye and immediately said it was Optic Neuritis. My vision mostly cane back 38 days later. That eye (which used to be the better one) has never been the same. The color is indeed faded. When I have periods, my vision is usually the first to show evidence of an upcoming episode. I am current in an episode involving my vision. It’s like each eye is fighting the other, instead of working together. Each eye is a different level of blurriness. For the first time every, I have double vision. It’s like each thing I look at has an identical twin literally right next to it. I am so grateful I found this channel when I did. It has helped ease some nerves and uncertainty with double vision.

What happened to my eyes was like what you described....my right eye acted completely different. One day years prior I had severe pins and needles (like nails) felt like foot was full of nails. I have dry eye and dry mouth problems, so severe sometimes that I can be awakened from sleep since my throat membrane sticks together. When I began doing the following, I began to have saliva secretion, yawn and have tears running within minutes. (Parasympathetic nerves at work.) 1. Do the near-far gazing exercise of Dr.Bates. 2. Ride on a bus or sit by the road, where scenes or cars rush by (also suggested by Dr.Bates, I believe.) 3.With eyes closed, turn eyes lightly clockwise for around 15 times, then counterclockwise (Chinese medicine). This led me to believe that autoimmune disease has a great deal to do with the imbalance of the automatic nervous system (stress). According to Chinese medicine, dry eyes and dry mouth signify the drying up of body fluid, and are signs of severe exhaustion (chronic stress).

Thank you so much. An ophthalmologist referred me to a retinal specialist yesterday. I now know that what she described sounds very much like retinal vasculitis. The word cancer floated around, but now I'll be able to sleep a little better at least thinking it isn't cancer until I see a specialist next week...although of course vasculitis isn't safe either. I may have Sjogren's or another autoimmune disease which is yet to be determined. I went in yesterday with no known real health concerns...walked out with possibly cancer and autoimmune issues. Thanks again for this.

7 years ago I was diagnosed with RA. I was put on hydroxychloroquine. I got a lot of floaters soon after. See I doc ever year since. He says the floaters are fine. But he says I probably have graves- droopy eye lids. I never test positive for graves. I got sick with cold and my eyes have been blood shot this past week. I think its part of my RA with the cold. Was glad to see it associated with RA although its probably the combo. I never have dry eyes. The one thing I'm curious about(with normal thyroid tests and vit. D), is why my eyelashes and eyebrows fall out in clumps and inner/outer won't grow back until more clumps fall out. Its always like half eyebrows/ eyelashes. No doc can explain.

Yes, that was a good question. I would say that I have most frequently heard the debate of brand name vs generic in cases of uveitis. There are many brands of glaucoma medications and some have been around forever. Brand name drops may be more expensive but my work slightly better, such as reducing the eye pressure by a few extra points vs what is seen in the generic. I have also had patients not have side effects on the brand name vs the generic (but I has also seen side effects WITH the brand name and NOT the generic lol). Either way, thanks so much for watching and being part of the community.

Thanks for asking! Sjogrens can still be diagnosed with negative blood testing as trong suspicion of SS, even in the absence of the traditional or novel antibodies, should lead to a rheumatology referral as negative serology is not exclusive and further testing and evaluation, such as a lip biopsy, may still reveal the diagnosis of SS. Outside of that, here is a video going over the type of testing we do at our clinic: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJCTYn1ojJV_l9ksi=8Sg9HGJkySj6XvfG Hope that helps.

She went to multiple doctors with no resolve. One had her putting drops in her eyes that caused things to get worse. A hair test revealed she was high in mercury. One of the many symptoms of mercury in the body is rheumatoid arthritis. And one of the symptoms of RA is dry eye. Many things can be traced back to toxic metals in the body. As well as other toxins.

By God's grace I'm an MD and I've read a lot about dry eyes symptoms over the years because I noticed how frequent it was becoming. Although there's no evidence of underlying autoimmune conditions ( in most affected people), I found these important things to consider and would recommend it to you all: 1. Vitamin D deficiency is associated associated with dry eyes and so that should be ruled out, especially for those living in countries with limited sun exposure.Vitamin D supplements would be helpful if that's the case ( OTC vitamin D supplements are available but do not exceed 4,000 IU per day). Meibomian gland atrophy is associated with bad device use habits 6. Wash eyes out with slightly cold water or do a cold compress ( close eyes as you dip your eyes in cold water cupped in palm ). 7. Use swim goggles when entering into pools or swimming in the sea or any unknown fresh water bodies 8. There's a condition called ocular laboropthalmia ( involuntary eye opening during sleep) which in turns leads to dry eyes. I'd recommended this ( it has bit A and corrects dry eyes symptoms 98% ,lasts for 6 months after opening and contains NO preservatives. But it may contain peanut oil so avoid if you are allergic, apart from that it's the best).

You can have Mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS). Many people with Long Covid and ME/CFS have Mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) as the cause of their symptoms. MCAS is a very common newly discovered mast cell disease that can have all the symptoms and triggers known from ME/CFS including PEM. Mast cells are found in all tissues of the body, including the brain. The cause of MCAS is mutations in the KIT gene (more than 50 mutations found so far) which makes Mast Cells dysfunctional and overactive. Mast cells are a white blood cell that is an important part of the immune system that can release more than 1000 different types of chemical mediators. The many symptoms MCAS can cause are incredible an depend on which of the over 1,000 mediators are released, how much of each mediator, which combination of mediators and where they are released in the body. Many of these mediators are inflammatory, others control bodily functions and growth. . Those with MCAS should avoid all their triggers as they can make them worse. Those with MCAS have had the disease all their lives before the disease is triggered/activated by viruses, bacteria, mould, physical or mental stress, poisons/toxins and heavy metals. There are many different medications that can make most people with MCAS better. Some diseases that are often associated with MCAS. • Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) • Post-Lyme syndrome • Long Covid • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) • Gulf War Illness (GWI) • Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) • Fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) • Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) • Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) • Multiple chemical sensitivity syndrome (MCSS) • Interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS) • Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) • Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) • Neurologic and psychiatric symptoms and diseases Scientific articles NCBI • Mast cell activation symptoms are prevalent in Long-COVID • Immunological dysfunction and mast cell activation syndrome in long COVID • Mast Cells and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) • The Emerging Role of Mast Cells in Irritable Bowel Syndrome • Mast Cells, Neuroinflammation and Pain in Fibromyalgia Syndrom • Mast cell activation disease: An underappreciated cause of neurologic and psychiatric symptoms and diseases • The relationship between mast cell activation syndrome, postural tachycardia syndrome, and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome • Mast Cell Activation Disorder and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome: A Clinical Association • Mast cell-mediated neuroinflammation may have a role in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) • Mast Cells, Stress, Fear and Autism Spectrum Disorder • The role of mast cells in migraine pathophysiology • Recent advances in our understanding of mast cell activation - or should it be mast cell mediator disorders? • MCAS: what is Mast Cell Activation Syndrome? - Online interview • The Role of MCAS in Long Covid With World Leading Specialist Dr Lawrence Afrin • Involvement of mast cells in modern life: Physiology and pathophysiology by Prof. Dr. L. The other was an issue with one eye. I couldnt focus it, and was VERY light sensitive. The first time around I had some blood work done, but im poor so I had to opt out. The eyecare facility on the second occasion, upon examining and doing their tests immediately wanted me to go get blood work done. Alas more poor after than i was the first time. I am confident I have something going on but can't afford testing. However hearing doctors thoughts and videos such as this, I can at least have some kind of understanding. You have to ask for tests of ferritin. I dont know if your levels are low. At least you need 30mcg of ferritin. Sometimes, your blood test are right because they are low until your levels of ferritin are inexistent. I am pretty sure that your ferritin is low and that explains why your hair is falling. You should go with a tricologist. But, I am pretty sure that your iron levels are not good. Covid has an impact on the iron metabolism. Your body is certainly having an inflamation problem. You have to try Omega 3 in high dosis and a diet to recover your microbiota. Drink bone brooth, prebiotics, avoid sugar. You can search in internet about diets for autoinmune diseases. Perhaps your doctors have not found the real cause for your dry eyes, but certainly something is wrong.
