It seems that with the new shunning policy, the committee of elders is not going to attempt to determine repentance, but instead, if the person says that they are repentant, they will accept it and let them remain in the congregation. Really, there was never anything biblical supporting the idea that 3 men could determine repentance, nor is the new procedure scriptural either.

We follow what the Bible directs and someone must make a decision if the person has ceased "practising" of what God condemns. Why not three men? If the person says that repent and carry on doing the same thing they will be removed from from the congregation. My daughter who was an unbaptized publisher left and zero effort to contact her. That citation from their literature is nothing but public relations. Also, their "removing" policy is not biblical. None of the elements of their procedure can be found in the bible. Nothing about a "committe of elders" being formed to determine repentance, something no human is able to do anyway.

Did Jehovah say: "No Beards" when Rutherford took over (hijacked) the JW religion, or did Rutherford himself say it? Also, this time around, did Jehovah interrupt your prayer and say: "You may grow a beard now because it is cool and acceptable" Or did you hear an announcement that stated: " the Governing Body finds it acceptable for brothers to have beards? Please don't fool yourself and please don't lie to others - YOU FOLLOW A BUNCH OF DUDES WHO CLAIM THEY SPEAK FOR GOD. I think that is called Blasphemy!
