The Shooting Show - Fallow stalking and airgunning for feral pigeons

This week on The Shooting Show, Thomas Nissen joins the Hunt & Hike sisters, Rikke and Trine Wagner Jacobsen, in Sweden. The girls have invited Thomas to follow their stalk for fallow at a farmers ground.The deer numbers are high in the area and normally the twins cull a deer on every outing.
Then Mark Ripley takes the Brocock sniper out for a mixed bag around the farm, starting off with a few feral pigeons that are plaguing the barns and cattle sheds, followed by some squirrel hunting action. Mark is then back out after dark in a bid to thin out the rabbit population using the HikMicro Cheetah night vision add on, resulting in some long range rabbits.

We have "Jegertvillinger" (directly translated to hunting twins) in Norway also. The girls had a TV-show on national broadcast. They are best known for their very colorful language, doubt they ever had direct broadcast.

What a great video on these rabbits. That Brocock .25 seems to hit with real authority and Mark’s marksmanship was exceptional. I’d like to see more rabbit shooting with that PCP. What muzzle energy is it developing.?

Love to know marks thoughts on fac airguns for close range or urban foxing over a sub 22lr

I’ve not actually used an fac air rifle for foxing but have friend that has shot quite a few in his garden at close range, killing all instantly with well placed shots with a sun 12ftlb air rifle. For urban fox jobs my reservations would be that a pellet doesn’t expand as well as a 22 bullet so perfect shot placement is crucial however the lower energy could potentially be safer in certain situations 👍

I’m using a triggercam but it was a little out of focus in places which was my fault - the camera is exceptionally clear!
