The rabbits sorely need controlling, and it's too much of a job for just one man on foot. How about one man on an ATV? Stoking up the Browning Maxus with Eley shells, Geoff heads out in vehicular pursuit of the coneys, and we hand on for dear life with the camera...

this is how me and my mate gets our rabbits we use a.177 airfield with a massive spot light its good fun

Those must be the doziest rabbits in the world! They can hear the ATV from miles away, but they stay put until you're 10 yards from them. I guess they must have been left unmolested all year, chewing away on the Farmer's crops. On my permissions, there are hardly any rabbits, and those which remain are the small, nervous, fast ones. I think that means I am doing my job right! Oh, and good luck at the game dealer, with those carcases full of shot! I use an air rifle, so no broken teeth during my rabbit dinner!

+luke_ willow I've tried lamping, but I find that only the first one is startled, the rest run off. So I switched to home brew night vision (search for rolaidsbench on youtube) and I can sit there and shoot one after another in the head with my air rifle. They have no idea what's going on, no loud bangs, and no shot in the meat when you cook it ;-)

Totally off subject. I have just purchased a new Ruger American .223 rifle after watching your video. That was the easy bit, however chossing a scope for it was a nightmare. Every gun dealer tells you their product is the best and all the others are crap. Bushnell, Nikko Sterling, Hawke, Simmons, Richter Optik all tend to come into the crap category. Nikon, and a few others hit the average scale. Zeiss, Smitt & Bender, Swarovski obviously always came out on top, but with the price and mark up that's obvious. Please can you do a special on Scopes and tell the truth. I opted for a Nikon Prostaff 3-9-50 in the end as 300 quid is a lot of money to me, but I'm sure some gun dealers would tell it's crap as well. Please let's have the truth on scopes !

Terry just wondering why you place Hawke and Bushnell in the crap category. I have shot Bushnell for years and I own several scopes and binos from Hawke and have yet to have a problem with any of them. I just replaced a Nikon with a Hawke and have another Hawke on the way when the new ones get here. I admit they aren't the cost of the high end scopes but I have shot for many years through a lot of glass and those two are far from junk. Just curious. Simmons I would have to agree with you there. They are pretty much junk.

"Bushnell, Nikko Sterling, Hawke, Simmons, Richter Optik all tend to come into the crap category" Not a troll wanting to start a argument just curious if there was a reason, bad scopes, bad information, whatever it might be. Since there are so many opinions and misinformation out there trying to cover it would be a chore no doubt. Good shooting guys keep those groups small.
