About this video: On March 16, 2024, an Amtrak extra equipment move operated from Portland, ME to Boston, MA with a solo P42DC hauling one Amfleet cafe car. I caught up with this train first in Newfields, NH, where it had to wait on the siding just south of my location for northbound Downeaster 695. I moved to the Exeter, NH Amtrak station and got clips of 695 as well as another shot of the Amtrak extra coming through shortly after. The following clips feature some other interesting consists on Amtrak Downeaster trains in the Newfields area in the following weeks, all of which I have posted on this channel separately with more information on each train in the descriptions of the videos that the clips appear in.
