Oldest pigeon on record, as far as I know, lived to 32 years. He was a racer, or homer, if you like. Had a racer myself who libed to 22. Current oldest bird in my loft is approximately 18.

Mayflies have a lifespan of a year or longer. Most of this is spent as a larva. They live a day as a subimago, then another day or less as an adult imago. Drone ants live for several weeks to months from the time they hatch as larvae to the time they die as adults. Most Lions don't even approach 20 years in the wild, they usually die when they are cubs or juveniles. This is why Lionesses bear a litter of 2 to 5 cubs every other year, or every year if their cubs are killed. Lionesses actually breed faster than Gazelles or Impala!

The last one is a type of jellyfish. It can theoretically live forever because it has the ability to transform back to an early life stage. But they usually eventually die from predators or disease.
