I find it absolutely hilarious that in #2 and #3 production and design spent a lot of time and money building elaborate sets only to have the competition to end *WAY* sooner then expected and no one got to see the tricks they built in

The funniest part about the BBCAN11 comp is that (at least to my knowledge) all 4 houseguests were actually trying to win the HOH (unlike the BB7 and BB21 comps) and, aside from Anika, all sucked at the comp (although it was a pretty difficult one).

4 of the 5 contestants failing within seconds is a failure in the people making the game. i wonder if they test played it at all. like if the game isn't playable you might as well just flip a coin.

I need to see the production meeting when "Take It or Lever" was being developed and playtested. I just know that the producers were just as stunned as the houseguests themselves when it happened 💀

Further BBCAB 11 spoilers: Another thing about that final 5 HOH comp that makes it kind of funny is that the houseguests were all punished and put on slop that week. As far as I know, the producers never actually revealed why they were being punished, but some people who watched the digital dailies were speculating that the producers did it because they were mad at the houseguests for making the HOH comp so anti-climactic. lol

Truly insane that something topped part one of the BB All Stars final HOH but here we are. Honestly, after learning a lot about Survivor the past couple years it is poetic how appropriate it was for Boogie to reference Richard Hatch there, truly an iconic moment! I also love how for the BB17 comp it seemed like production were really trying to make it seem like that comp lasted a good hour or so, like they really did not want anyone to know how short of a comp it was 😂

I remember watching the BB7 comp live and was flabbergasted at the result. My first thought was sympathy for the challenge designers, as you know they must have spent a lot of time on that volcano. It was also the end of Janelle's game, as the second part of the HOH was based on upper body strength, which she wasn't likely to beat Boogie in. If I remember correctly, Erika had also agreed to throw the first HOH to her, which makes the sting even worse. Would the wall comp from BB25 be anywhere on this list? How could the BBCAN people think that pipe challenge would go on for possibly 5 hours? It looks brutal.

In regards to Dizzyland, I think the prevailing thought at the time was that people got knocked out quickly because they sat down/their butts touched the disc? But the producers told them they should fake a fall for the episode. IIRC from watching the feeds at the time. We were watching them spin around, the feeds went down, and when we came back several of the houseguests were sitting on the bench.

I think that the dizzy land comp everyone went down so fast because the hands were constantly hitting them and it was making them really dizzy and then also they started to spin so fast from that hand hitting them by the time they stopped spinning they were immediately spinning again and that makes it even harder to hold on

BB21 final 4 HoH is sooo stupid tho?? It's a comp that just didn't work with such few people in the game. Also I die everytime I realize BB17 disk comp is edited to look way longer than in reality 💀😭

Why wasn’t the running HOH competition from season 19 included, the one where Paul convinced everyone to throw the comp to Christmas when she had her foot in a cast? It was the first one that immediately came to my mind 😂

He mentioned in the video he wanted to focus on the endurance competitions. The race from BB19 wasn't really endurance, even though it was pretty silly.

I recorded this about two months ago, so they have grown! Mama did fantastic and has done an excellent job raising them; there are 4 kittens, three boys and one girl, and they're all amazing (even though they keep me up everynight). There's Graybee, Booger, Massimoo, and Cali (and Daisy is the mama)

In fairness, BBCAN11 was designed to be short. Balancing on one foot while balancing an object. It’s much easier to do so with your arms as seen on Survivor. How production thought it would be long is beyond me. 17 seconds is extremely short, though 3-5 mins is probably a better estimate of how long it should last. BB7 was designed to be a how bad do you want it and enduring the pain of the uncomfortable position and last a few hours.

It reminded me of the kind of similar BB19 balancing comp that Jessica won - like half the cast dropped within 20 seconds but Jessica powered through 3 hours. BBC11 probably just had an unlucky pick of HGs who didn't know how to balance like BB19 and maybe Anika could have powered through several hours.

One will eventually come but I do not have a current plan for it through the summer. What will likely happen is I’ll do two after the season is over: one for the BB25 winner and one for Jun afterwards. I do have one “mini documentary” about an old school challenge beast though that will be releasing in the next month or so!
