Loved this comparison. I prefer the larger screen, wireless Apple car play and leather seats. We recently bought a 2024 Civic Touring and we love it!!

I looked at both, but ended up buying the Accord. I don't care about Leather and the smaller screen doesn't bother me. The Civic are definitely more in demand. I got a slightly used 2024 Accord with 7K miles for over $6K off MSRP and $3K less than the equivalent Civic. The one thing I admit not being a fan of are seat comfort for both cars. I rented a Nissan Altima earlier and they had some amazing seats.

Prefer the Accord for the lumbar, cloth seats, physical buttons on screen, additional space in back seat & trunk and larger size as a family sedan. Don't care much about the other accoutrements in civic by virtue of it being a top of the line trim. Wish the accord did not have the sun/moon roof.

Like you, I'd choose the Civic. In fact, I once owned a 1981 Civic hatchback and LOVED it. On the 2024 Civic and Accord, are the spare tires full size? Also, what are the color options for the exterior? (I find white to be pretty boring). Finally, as one who owns a mini cell phone and a 43" TV, a smaller video display on my car's dashboard is an advantage, not a drawback -- different strokes for different folks! Thanks for the comments. I didn't check the spare tires, but will try to work that into future videos. Expect to see all of the main colors available on these cars, including the recently popular non-metallic one-tone paints made popular by the Toyota Tacoma and that have made their way into most manufacturers. And I would say you are definitely in the minority...with your 43" TV and love for small infotainment screens. 🙂 And btw...does your Impreza have a spare tire?

I’m honestly pissed. I was looking at a civic sport but didn’t really like it. It didn’t have a nice interior so the sale lady shows me an accord ex. For 31k I wish she would have shown me the touring civic. It had all the things I was looking for in the interior. Absolutely gutted

How long have you had it? If only a few weeks, go back and talk to the dealership GM. They should take it back and give you a smokin deal on the Civic Touring

That's funny. I traded in my Pilot for a 2024 Civic Touring. Was first looking at used accords and my sales person pulls up in a White 2024 Civic Touring. After telling him my likes and dislikes and what I was looking for in a vehicle he hit the hammer on the head with this one. Love my new ride. 😊

Hey future reference I don’t think that was a fair comparison I own a 2024 Honda Accord hybrid touring you can’t compare a civic touring against an accord ex obviously the civic is going to have way more features. Not tryna hate but again how fair would it be if you compared the Honda accord hybrid touring against the civic lx obviously people would choose the accord touring because of the features like the heads up display & leather seats with the bose sound system and way better screen and ect… I think if you’re gonna compare something compare it to the same trim. I owned the 2023 civic sport touring I loved it but once I got the 2024 accord hybrid touring I most definitely think it’s better then the civic

Thanks for comment Damian. I agree that comparing apples to apples would have been to compare the civic touring to an Accord touring. And maybe that is a future comparison to do. The purpose of this comparison was to take two models that were essentially the same price and compare them. For someone that knows they want a Honda and has a $30,000’ish budget, which one is the better car? That was my purpose.

@@Chadscarcomps thanks for the reply I see I see but I really hope u do make a video comparing touring to touring because I feel like people will get mistaken yk and some points in the video u will say for example “the accord got the smaller screen” it can be misleading because the sport hybrid and up has the bigger & better screen not all the accords have the down grade screen if that makes sense. Not hating or anything maybe I took offense because I have an 2024 accord hybrid touring and it’s a fantastic car 😭😂 again I just feel like that wasn’t a fair comparison but I appreciate you and hope u don’t take no offense!

It just depends on preference, I test drove both recently and found the accord to have a more solid ride. The civic has better features though depending on the trim

My purpose in comparing these two vehicles equipped as they were was to get the price very close to each other. My review was to hopefully help someone who is trying to figure out how to best spend their money. These two vehicles were only a few hundred dollars apart. If I had compared an Accord Touring to a Civic Touring, the price difference would have been close to $8-$10k. I didn't think that would be as useful of a comparison as the one I did here.

I get that it’s like, “okay if ur in the market for a new car and lookin to spend around 30 here are some solid options side by side” I think in the future if you ever came back to a topic similar to this comparing two Hondas (or any other type of car) to appeal, not to a budget consumer, but to one looking to compare two high end models to see the differences in what their money will get them! Thanks for explaining your thought process on why you went this route! I retract my “goofy”
