It isn’t true that Honda is “unable to” package a spare tire on the Civic sedan because it’s a hybrid. The battery is under the rear seat and doesn’t affect space under the trunk. The lack of spare tire is purely a cost cutting move similar to the reason for the lack or rear USB ports.

Honda maintenance is a joke. You can only utilize your free oil changes if the maintenance minder gets to 15% or less or 10K miles. Who the hell waits until 10k to change their oil? That is just asking for engine trouble down the line. I have the 2 yr/24k miles complimentary service and is has zero value as I do mostly city driving and need to change my oil every 6 months or 5k miles. Honda is basically only wanting to pay for an average of 4 oil changes at most over a 2 year period. Not worth the potential damage to your engine.

Doing one single 10k oil change isn’t going to destroy the engine. You can also do 5K oil changes at your own expense if you want and just go to the dealer to collect your one free 10K oil change. @@harrytejI will say the Honda interior design looks good for once. It’s sleek, looks modern and feels luxury. The Accords style (in my opinion) isn’t bad, it’s kinda bland, basic and doesn’t excite me. I do hope they redesign the Accords exterior, leaning towards something similar to the Sonota, I honestly do not like the Camry AT ALL. I know it’s probably wishful thinking, but I hope they bring back the V6 as well.

How is your CRI scale measured? Higher number is better? Or lower number is better?

Lower is better (less problems per 100 vehicles)

Should I wait for accord 2025? What do you think off would be for accord ?

i cant decide between the accord or the CRV i was thinking at first to get the civic sport touring but the price is close to that of an Accord loved the accord the feel and everything but the price is far closer to that of a CRV my issue with the CRV tho is that it does not come with a spare . I really like the crv but worried about a CVT transmission as i use to have a sentra that failed me due to this reason. Can i ask ur advice i love crv cus of the room and the sound (music ) but i dont know much about transmission also what can one do if they dont have a spare tire. i want to get a CRV hybrid touring what is the difference between that of a HRV also how much does each car take to fill up ????? as u can tell i need a bit of guidenss

Accord is too large/bulky for my taste these days, so Civic IMO. Same thing goes for Camry vs Corolla. I would select a new Mazda3 sedan over them all though. Personal preference.

The Accord is a much better choice.

The current Accord should have been the new Acura RLX. It’s got the size and conservative styling to be a flagship Acura and the Diamond Pentagon grille would look good on that. It be easy to convert it to an Acura. I would have bought it if I didn’t spend an extra 7k for a 2023 TLX tech. Always and will be a Honda guy.

On price, fuel economy, and sporty driving dynamics, The Civic Delivers the best option...

When exactly would they get the Civic Hatchback Hybrid to North America? Why doesn't Honda get it? Are the other brands insecure that no one would buy anything else if this existed???

No mention of California while touring the back country roads? I only heard Kentucky and Canada mentioned and those oak trees and chaparral-covered hills @10:22 were certainly not in Kentucky...

I'll wait to see the midlife refresh Accord for 2026 & 27 I'm expecting Honda to change up the Accord like back in 2006-07. Vs 03 to 05 where the rear is completely different.

They need to offer smaller wheels on the top trims to maximize efficiency. Accord is always worth it over Civic in space alone

I feel like Honda targets boring people to buy their cars I want to like Honda but I feel like the designs of their cars and SUVs are so basic. Don't get me wrong they are great cars to drive (at least 80% of them) but why can't they be nice to look at too? Inside and out.
@matthewmcdaniel69665 ай бұрын
"Boring"....no, it's understated and classy unlike the 10th gen, which while kinda cool looking is a little silly for an econobox. Love my 2024 sport hatch in rally red. Athletic, but very grown up.

Thank you for the direct comparison of these cars. My only complaint/critique is that I would have loved to see how well a large suitcase fits in the trunk space. Most cars fit a carry-on or two, but my wife and I use the bigger ones when we travel.
