Thank you for giving some love to the 87 Shredder! I get so sick and tired of younger fans thinking he's going to invent a tickle gun when this guy literally ran a criminal organization, had ties to other gang affiliations, and was doing all this while being supported by alien tech for global domination. Take away the parent groups and TV standards, and 87 Shredder easily would have been a successful Kingpin with ninja skills that rival Batman!

Thank you! I couldn't have said it better myself. Shredder was a straight up savage in the 5 parter 1st season. Of course the fun police aka parent groups made sure the show was toned WAY down to become even more "kid friendly ". If it wasn't for the 87' team, the franchise wouldn't have lasted this long. These kids need to put some respect on our Turtles Names! My old man rant is Done now. Lol

He is the fictional villain that has revolutionized my father's perspective of age appropriateness on entertainment in general and I mean like becoming more softer. Also it's funny that my father has referred Shredder as the *human Bowser* of the TMNT series back when he used to enjoy the 1987 TV one.

The Technodrome was very close to New York already by the time of the "Shredder Triumphant" ending episode of Season 7. In Season 7 "Attack of the Neutrinos" The Technodrome was seen flying thru the sky getting really close to New York City. Also in Season 7 "Atlantis Awakes" The Technodrome was seen roaming around underwater.

A retirement home for villains 😂 this would fit in Adam West Batman because of how unrealistic in it is, you forgot that his Brother in the original comics was the reason why he turned evil in the first place,I consider the crossovers to be non canon and for the lost episode Shredder in love I suggest that Tempestra could be Shredder’s love interest because of brief moment with them.

The Later appearance of Krang in 2012 makes no sense , after all he wants to conquer Earth not destroy it ,same goes for that Shredder , , , now in Turtles Forever , the Umtrom-Shredder is obsessed with destruction , and bent on finding "Turtle-Prime" didn't he say he searched through "thousands" of dimensions looking for it ?? , , , so 1987 Shredder just wanted to Rule the world , , ,it is funny that the Turtles found a world where they never existed and Shredder succeeded but was overburdened by the responsibility and wanted to go to the Turtles world instead , , too bad they didn't swap out Shredders , ,they would have one Shredder no longer interested in world takeover , , plus greatful to the Turtles as a bonus 🤔🤔👍👍

I think of the other appearances of 87 tmnt and shredder could be actually parallel copies to the original cartoon or just a alternate timeline from to why they seem to be out of continuity (like how we watched them in turtles forever and seeing a similar fight happening during earlier seasons and seeing the channel 6 news being around before season 7) 19:23 19:41 21:23 21:39 and the altered origins of krangs 21:12 With the ten earths thing could just be a false understanding to shredder and krang or just ten earths that has a krang in it. 22:29

Mmm... Horridus being an Image Comics character may be a little harder to research. I already started research on Triceratons and I stopped because I wasn't sure how many videos to make out of it (I may separate between comics and shows/movies). I am not sure when that video will come out, but since stuff is happening in IDW right now with the Triceratons, it may need to wait. Or I may end up doing a Mirage Triceratons video. Great video, which pays a nice homage to the somewhat forgotten Shredder from 1987. The series has not aged very well, and could seem a little outdated today, but I would not be against a reboot, keeping its atmosphere, its spirit while making it a little darker and mature ( and putting updating certain characters and adding others, which were not present, such as Tigerclaw, Karaï, Alopex, Ninjara or Venus ). After all, she deserves a reboot, because she helped make Tmnts popular across the world. And its credits were simply brilliant.

Krang still had it in the last episode of Season 7 of "Shredder Triumphant" when Bebop and Rocksteady picked up Shredder and Krang in the truck at the end of the episode. By Season 8, Krang was using his Bubble Walker since they were on the run from The Turtles and it had much better speed than his slow Android Body.

Also, I think Turtles Forever takes place between Trans-Dimensional Turtles and Wanted: Bebop And Rocksteady. That, and I like the thought of Krang being an Utrom that could grow an organic reptilian-like body.

But in "Wanted: Bebop and Rocksteady", we don't see the building, so my take is that years have passed between seasons 4 and 5 of TMNT 2012. In that case, the gang could have returned to Earth. But the reality is that whoever writes these crossovers doesn't really care much about the Fred Wolf timeline.

Though i understand that the turtles were originally made as violent and harsh characters as a whole,the whole consept in general is better more to the comedic approach! After all we talk about 4 ninja turtles,a vilain based in a kitchen tool,and a brain lord stuck in the belt buckle of a robot! We learned much later with the help of the Internet the origins from the ctreators etc.I do liked a little the 3D series in nickelodeon,but for me it wasn't the same as the comedic light tune turtles we grew up in the 80s! I lauched with shredder's temper beebop and rocksteady's stupidity and all,the sticker album which i also completed and win an original playmates figure of michael angelo,and the awesome first arcade game accompanied with the nes games! Though good efforts as a whole i don't like for instance the series with shredder that had this alien inside of him which resembles craang,it was somehow weird for my taste because they wanted lets say to show a more series approach.I like the classic turtles we see here and that's that! 😅 In would love to see shredder though became the super shredder in the classic series as well for once,because i don't remember this ever happened in the classic series! Super shredder in a final fight having the 4 brothers defeating him and sending him away in dimension X for good this time while also destroying technodrome instead trying to give shredder justice until the end,while trying to maintain him in order to have him for another season!

Honestly I like the 2012 approach one where their's a serious story and the characters are treated mostly as real people but their not afraid to crack wise and lampshade thier absurd situations. Though something like Super SHredder is definetly better when it's NOT played for comedy

According to Turtles Forever Red SKy takes place in a separate universe from the rest of the 87 continuity. When Turles forever shows a screen of the different universes, 87 and Red SKy are in different places. And Next Mutation isn't there (thank kami)

This version of shredder was only good in season 1. He became krangs bitch and was only begging and taking orders from krang. He couldn’t even use his own foot soldiers when he wanted. Krang humiliated him the entire season 2. The only one calling shredder master is Baxter. He was lame.

Agreed. I love Krang and also Shredder as they are cool and hilarious as a team of villains who always quarrel and mock each others, but I admit Shredder lost all his edge and credibility because of Krang after season 1. Partly because the Technodrome is in Dimension X so now Krang has all the power, and partly because his new android body is actually more powerful than Shredder in combat as it's very difficult to damage it even when Krang does not grow into a giant. Anyway, in the italian version of the 1987 TMNT cartoons, the italian voice actors even changed some dialogues on purpose to make it clear to the italian audience that Krang was the main boss, indeed a lot of times both Krang and the Turtles just call Shredder "Shreddy" with a silly comical voice to mock him😅😂 Shredder can really only boss around Baxter (for a while) and Rocksteady and Bebop (forever), but they are all just idiotic henchmen even if they are physically strong mutants, so that's not really respectful at all for a main villain like Shredder...
