I was atheist, a staunch one too. THEN, I watched a documentary about the shroud. I couldn’t believe it. And, it spoke to my soul. Then, I had dreams of levitation. Nothing to do with the bible, I thought, nothing too strange, I could just levitate. Then, I looked it up, why would I dream such things? They left the disfigured parts from his face broken and bashed in their version. They gave him the broke bashing to a hook nose and slanted down eyes from his sockets bashed and swollen and more. If they would remove the broken features, that is, of course, on the shroud showing his sacrifice for us, they would be closer to how he looked.

In 1994 I became a born again Christian and the following night, Jesus came to me in my dream and briefly spoke to me. He told me that I now know where I'm going when I die meaning I didn't have to question it any longer. And He told me to tell everyone about my experience with him. I have only ever seen one picture of Jesus that got it right. It is a painting by someone who claimed to see his face as well and it's called The Masterpiece by Bette Myers. With that being said, I can see this rendering of Jesus "earthly" face to possibly be close to accurate. But I also believe he looks much different in his resurrected form. 😊✝️

At church a few weeks ago, I saw an image of Jesus. Vision or something else I can't say. I seem to be the only one who saw it. In his presence I could feel the Father's will and devotion exuding from Jesus. He was walking into our sanctuary. He was there for official business and he was focused on this. It is close to what I saw in my dream when I was less than 5 years old. His cheeks were less pronounced. His face was softer and fuller. His hair was lighter as if bleached by the sun. His skin glowed. His eyes drew me in as he talked about his life , death and coming back to life. He showed his life as if it was a movie of his life he was narrating. His eyes were like looking at the universe all at once from beginning to end. I felt such love from His eyes. like I was the most important person in the whole universe yet I knew he loved everyone this same way. I didn't feel slighted by this thought. I felt over joyed by that thought. I saw how much he suffered for me and everyone in the world. Yet he comforted me as I watched him die. My heart and soul will never forget this dream.

Paul, have you ever heard of the "Pilate letter"? I don't know if it's genuine. What is interesting is that it describes Pilate (or his secretary) writing to the Roman emperor about Jesus: He (or the secretary) once saw Jesus (before he stood trial) standing before a group of people, leaning against a tree. Jesus looked quite different from the others, he had hazel hair, he was full of inner calm and peace, a perfectly beautiful appearance ... (paraphrased) Jesus had brothers and sisters. One of his brothers is said to have been in a sect in which people did not cut their hair or beards. That would fit in with your pictures, in which you mostly show Jesus with very long hair, sometimes braided into plaits. The shroud also shows that he had a ponytail.
