I remember me and a friend peaking out at 120kg in benchpress back in the day. And it was fifteen repetitions, with a minute pause between every five. What a wonderfull body God gave us. Have a beautiful day in Christ.

Not true, the Roman church is the true one if you are able to go past sloppy and hipocritical youtube apologists like Jay Dyer, and I'm in neither of these churches btw so I'm hardly biased. My study bible is in fact orthodox.
@Marcel_WOC20 сағат бұрын
Jay dyer is not the only one who represents Orthodoxy. Orthodoxy is getting represented better for 2000 years. Also if you believe that the Roman church is the truth. Why aren’t you in it. And if you think that Orthodoxy is not the truth. Why would you read the orthodox study bible. Dont listen to him @_derjohnny_

I mean guys where did the church come up with this crossing yourself? . It’s not about the cross it’s about Christs sacrifice and prayer.

And we remind Christ’s sacrifice and prayer to ourselves with the sign of the cross.

@@Marcel_WOC Nice, that's good for you but the sign of the cross doesn't really have any power itself. If it reminds you of the one who does, then great, but don't claim that it has power because that can be considered idolatry.

@@TrevoltIV "Then we should also marvel how demons and various diseases are dispelled by the sign of the precious and life-giving Cross, which all can make without cost or effort. Who can number the panegyrics composed in its honor? The holy fathers have handed down to us the inner significance of this sign, so that we can refute heretics and unbelievers. The two fingers and single hand with which it is made represent the Lord Jesus Christ crucified, and He is thereby acknowledged to exist in two natures and one hypostasis or person. The use of the right hand betokens His infinite power and the fact that He sits at the right hand of the Father. That the sign begins with a downward movement from above signifies His descent to us from heaven. Again, the movement of the hand from the right side to the left drives away our enemies and declares that by His invincible power the Lord overcame the devil, who is on the left side, dark and lacking strength." - Peter of Damascus Ripped straight off the Orthodox wiki but this is what we believe, you feel free to believe what you wish

@@TrevoltIV It isn't idolatry. not even close. The sign of the cross is just another prayer, asking for God to bless you with His grace. Of course the physical action has no power, just as the words of prayer have no power. But we still pray, of course, because we can ask God for help. That's why we do the sign of the cross
@desertstonestudio33158 сағат бұрын
Don't discount the power of symbolism. Of course it is bordering on mysticism. Yes, worship of the cross is idolatry. Worship of Christ through symbolism can be a slippery slope but that said, there is power in the symbolism, through faith. Of course, Jesus never used symbols but parables. God used signs. Symbolism on a cosmic scale. Moses angered God when he tried to use symbolism through action. God tried to show his power was not limited to a rod but by voice alone he would command water to flow.

Behold a list of Saints who are more experienced than you or any other Saints and never talked about the gesture of the sign of the cross. Matthew Mark Luke John Paul James Peter Thomas Andrew Simon Phillip Bartholomew James (son of alphaeus) Thaddaeus It’s almost like if doing the physical action of making a cross symbol was important it would be in scripture. But it’s just a man made tradition not unlike what the Pharisees used to make up.
