Roughly thirty-six hours after some things fly out of a cave and start killing people, a cult has already formed, killed at least two people, spray painted graffiti, cut out their own tongues, begun to torment a family, and express a desire to mate with the deaf daughter. This has got to be the laziest plot device I've seen in a while.

@@snoox27 It always amazes me. In horror movies it seems white ppl are so quick to form all sorts of death cults. The same white ppl who aren't swaded into normal Christianity even given the violence of our current world...all of a sudden will form weird death cults the moment sh!t hits the fan. Ok.....

But as for the vesps themselves wouldn’t they not be able to even handle the sun...? Like they’re ancient creatures that have been stuck underground for millions of years and their skin is super thin and pale, they shouldn’t even be able to fly out for about 5 minutes before they start to bleed and burn along with other health effects that the sun would bring to them :/

If we're getting that technical theeen lets not forget modern bacteria and viruses their bodies aren't used to. They were in a sealed, isolated cave for millions of years. Compared to that, modern day cities are probably incredibly filthy to them. It would end just like War of the Worlds xD.

In fact most of them should be dying of melanoma within 24 hours. 🤨

The take that "technology is bad" is so overdone and, at this point, doesn't really make sense. People use technology ALL THE TIME during disaster-level events such as hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, school shootings, and, most recently, the California and Australia fires. Through technology, people know what's going on, which areas are the most dangerous, which areas are going to be evacuated, how to protect yourself, etc.

The only reason it was hard is because the world before sucked. Are you actively saying you don't want to have a nice existence. If you want pain and suffering catch a disease and sell yourself on the black market. But leave the rest of us out of it.

Such as the notebook she used to talk to people her hearing aids and the fact she didn't know how to speak. I don't even think Allie is a new student. It's not a novelty for someone to be deaf. Even as a child being firstly introduced to the concept these are teenagers! They have no reason! Zero excuse! I'm starting to notice that these are practically the most weakest monster you can possibly imagine, they're kind of like giants zubats. in fact installing a giant noisy wood chipper and putting something in the middle of the wood chipper to make a bunch of noise to attract them actually would have made more sense. I think it's mostly goes on the same phobias as claustrophobia and possibly the disorienting notion of an uncontrollable swarm... But even then, that would have been a problem for like maybe about a few hours, that or they're trying to prove a point by showing how humanity sucks?? I honestly don't know this movie was s***.

And zombies are just slow humans. Monsters in general, unless cosmic horrors or supernatural monstrosities of a godless universe, are easy to deal with as a collective. But humanity is chaotic and we aren't organized at all in movies. Otherwise most problems wouldn't affect us. And it'd be boring.

Def not 100% logical. But I have never been I theatre where everyone was so filled with suspense that I felt like a asshole trying to open my bag of skittles. 😂 Edit: also I am worried about the sequel cuz I loved the first one and usually movies just make sequels for money and I have already found plot holes in the trailer lol

Hey man, can you do a ending explained for Black Summer? The ending completely lost me... a empty stadium. I only have two plausible answers 1. This was a lie to lure the remaining survivors who weren’t picked up on the trucks. Once a decent amount of survivors managed to get into the stadium, the government would’ve dropped bombs onto the stadium in hopes this would slow this thing down(just like what you see in World War Z when they lure them into a stadium and proceeded to bomb the stadium, killing thousands of the infected) 2. The people on the trucks did go there but the others who didn’t end up on the truck ended up being too late to be evacuated. I can’t see number 2 actually working considering there’s no camps, tire marks or anything which indicates people where there. Either way, could you place your ideas onto this? Seriously annoyed to why this wasn’t explained more and I haven’t found any vids about the matter

ScaleWings The real questions are...How did they not starve in the cave for millions of years? How did they handle all the sun after living in caves for millions of years? How are humans not killing these things seeing as the creatures are so stupid they just go into fire and wood chippers without second thought?

I would love to see you do a video on Mercy Black (2019). Thought it was going to be a cool supernatural thriller based on the IRL Slenderman murder, but it was a hot mess. There are like three plot twists stacked on top of each other and it ends with a really abrupt cliffhanger. Perfect candidate for an Ending Explained!
