I never understood why universities are not responsible for placing you into a job of study after spending thousands for their programs. Valid question to ask political leaders since a lot of it is funded by Government loans.

The University isn't suppose to train you for a job. They are supposed to educate you on a topic.

This is crazy talk. The job market is suppose to be competitive. Education is a choice.

I used to work for a big outsourcing company. Something I noticed... they give mostly easier work to the offshore teams. That means way less entry level jobs for new college grads just trying to get their foot in the door.

Working from Home, Contract Labor, Blah Blah vs decreased productivity or decreased quality of work/products has to do with poor management, not the worker... I think everyone should work as a Contracted Employees and 100% believe you should be Paid for Your Performance. America is suppose to be a Free Enterprise Ecconomy, "Be Worthy of Your Worth"... As a Small Business Owner, I can't compete with large scale companies on price so I need to cut fat in order to keep my prices competative with the Big Organizations. Corporate Business can Lose money on a contract to price me out of the Market... Be Careful what you Change... Hustlers will always Hustle...

A lot of great points noted around employment. It would be interesting to model the *cumulative* effects of the intentions of the incoming administration. While each one are often discussed emotionally I have not seen anything calculating the impact(s) of the execution. What happens if 10%, 25%, 35%, 50% ext of undocumented imagrants leave by whatever means. Impact of 3%, 15%, 25% ect of the ~3 million federal gov workers fired. Removing a percentage 1%-75% of the 100k US troops in Europe. Cutting 2 trillion in gov spending, 15%-150% Autonomous Transportation. In his first term, He pushed the Department of Transportation (DOT) took significant steps to advance autonomous vehicles in the U.S. With Musk as close as he is to the administration and the technology being ready to go live this could be a huge factor in employment. Drones were a priority under the first T-Administration and will likely continue to be under the second. During his first term, T issued a Presidential Memorandum requiring the U.S. Department of Transportation to establish the Drone Integration Pilot Program and took numerous steps to accelerate drone integration into the national airspace system. Now years later with much more advanced technology the likes of Amazon, Walmart and big Ag are clamoring to scale this delivery system up. Tariffs.... To long of a topic for writing. Reforming the NIH, CDC and the FDA. If a percentage of what his team has said they will do it could have a significant economic impact including construction to onshore drug manufacturing. Book by Ed Dowd, Cause Unknown: Using actual government data the number of excess deaths is removing a lot of people from the work force. The number of working disabled has spiked. The Federal Reserves FRED website for the number of Population With a Disability, 16 Years and over. Simular to the website WTF Happened in 1971 the same could be said about 2021-2023 Blockchain technology is currently decimating jobs in the accounting world and will continue to do this throughout Banking and insurance. While Robotics and AI are often talked about as job killers I can assure you that blockchain technology is the silent killer of jobs. Lastly, robots are about to crush the workforce most likely in construction, factory, health care and agriculture. I would see the cumulative effect of these things being bigger then the Industrial Revolution and all other revolutions combined in less than ten years. Cheers

With reference to the 1959 and 2024 chart on population and housing starts is it possible that the housing starts are at their maximum, which was established in 1959ish? If over the decades the number of housing starts is always at 1.4M to 1.5M seems to me there's a ceiling for whatever reason.

It’s sometimes confusing to hear people say 1099 “employee”. Because if you are 1099 you are an independent contractor. Technically you’re not an employee: of Uber. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

More and more people might face a tough time in retirement. Low-paying jobs, inflation, and high rents make it hard to save. Now, middle-class Americans find it tough to own a home too, leaving them without a place to retire.

The increasing prices have impacted my plan to retire at 62, work part-time, and save for the future. I'm concerned about whether those who navigated the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am currently experiencing. The combination of stock market volatility and a decrease in income is causing anxiety about whether I'll have sufficient funds for retirement.

More reason I enjoy my day to day market decisions is that i'm being guided by a portfolio-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time, both employing profit-oriented strategy and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downtrends, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis, it's quite impossible not to

I've shuffled through investment coaches and yes, they can be positively impactful to an individual's portfolio, but do your due diligence to find a coach with grit, one that withstood the 08' crash. For me, Amy Lea Kohlert turned out to be better and smarter than all the advisors I ever worked with till date, I’ve never met anyone with as much conviction.

the Fed only cuts for one reason, the labor market, if the labor market was strong (like they say) and there was any question on inflation, they would not cut... So why cut? jobs are crashing...
