I lost hope after amazon destroyed the second age, but this is a universe of fresh oxigen. Thank you for this, it's an old dream from highschool that I never thought I would see! May God bless you and I hope this message motivates you to do the entire book. Cheers from Chile. 👍

Excellent. I love the overall tone you have created. The intangible concepts of the Beginning of Days are so hard to capture in a visual narrative, and do well. This feels like a real movie, unfolding in real time and inviting the viewer in. I am amazed at your achievement with this because the text of the Silmarillion does not flow like a linear story. We get so many things listed out for context, but then the narrative flow of the story gets lost as we back up to mention important events, and then jump forward to go to other events, and the actual story does not unfold in the way most people are used to. Most of my friends get lost in the beginning. But those of us who've been crazy enough to read it over and over, begin to see a story take shape that is one of the best ever told. I know we're just in the second episode here, but THIS finds that sweet spot. You've included just enough of the exposition without slowing down the pace. And doing a good job of bringing life and internal motivations to the characters. I am delighted to get to walk along with them. The visuals are beautiful (I can't imagine how hard making, mixing together and matching the visuals all of that music was) but the story is where this really shines. Well done. Thank you for putting real thought and care into this.

Stunning production. Truly lovely. Disconcerting to hear the Valar with American accents, see facial hair, and there are some mispronunciations of the names of Tolkein's characters; but, overall, amazing work. The beginning of the Silmarillion is so abstract and metaphoric that even imagining everything while you read is hard, it is really impressive what you could achive with few resources. Puts in perspective what could be done in Rings of Power and brings even more shame to amazon. Keep your work of creation! the hardest part is almost over! and confirms to us all that what is good and fair, creates. While the darkness is only capable of twisting and ruining what is already created but cannot produce anything of its own

I love how faithful you remain to the sourcework while also giving your own interpretations on how the Ainur, Melkor and Iluvatar all look! An amazing portion of the narrative wound together with the Three Themes and then the initial strife between the Valar and Melkor. I particularly love how you see the similarities and differences between both Manwe and Melkor, notably seen in Manwe's silvery-white hair and Melkor's dark, allowing those who haven't read the books to see that they are brothers and yet different because one remained faithful and the other corrupted himself

This is worthy of Professor Tolkien's work. In comparison, Amazon, through Prime Video, with a lot of money, managed to make that piece of shit called Rings of Power. Which has nothing to do with Professor Tolkien's work. It uses the name of the work, but does not convey the essence of the work. This channel is showing that the big film studios are no longer necessary. The owner of the channel and the person responsible for creating the AI are to be congratulated.
