Thanks very much for this here already! It was nice although I found the music a bit bleak and I am still thinking about my worries even when counting backwards but that's my problem l have to work on! I will listen to the new version now.

@@shantinaturechild3239 I actually agree. Silva's tone is also not the most relaxing. I believe there is some believed value to that. In Joe Dispenza's meditations he does something similar by using a certain voice. BUT I can work on one with a gentler, calmer feeling and see what your result is.

I’ve listened to Jose’s, his daughters, Joe Dispenza, Jason somebody, the Norse Witch and a dozen other Alpha meditations. This is by far my favorite!! TY this will be my new daily practice!

My first time trying it felt like I was instantly switching to sleep at 50 seconds…it kinda scared me so I woke up for a min and felt very tired. But I got back into it.

This was nice thank you. At some point I was counting down and got lost around 40s so I decided to count down from 10 to 1 and at 3 it was stated I was in alpha. I was like “oh. Of course I am. I knew that” lol

I love the presenters voice and the length of this meditation, would love to be able to use this as part of my morning routine but the music competes too much with her voice and the mic sounds were also a distraction

How is it going now? It's not uncommon to feel drowsy after any meditation practice. It is lowering you into a brain state that is part of the transition into and during sleep.

Do you like the book? When you say "do you have theta" do you mean a theta meditation? If so, to explain the Silva Method is a quicker method and probably why its focus is Alpha, yet a more meditative state is Theta so lots of meditations could bring you there. There are several Joe Dispenza meditations on our channel and the focus there is Theta. But we may create a Theta specific meditation or exercise. What do you think?

@@SoundScienceSoul so far the book is great. I was asking about theta meditations because some Silva channels have theta meditations as well. Also, as far as I know alpha is a range of frequency. Why did you chose 11hz specifically? The video helps a lot though for Silva technique.

@@AviKumarYT Thanks for the explanation! Everything I've studied in terms of Silva is about alpha. Maybe I'll create a theta meditation based on the SIlva Method? As far as 11 Hz, my research says this "Alpha may have a frequency of between 8 and 13 Hz, but in most adults, it is between 9 and 11 Hz." Hence the reason for 11 Hz. I realize various sources may differ in this opinion. There isn't much other reason why though.

How long do I need to keep my eyes rolled up? I noticed that I over think it and get tense...can I relax them when they naturally want to fall back?

Ideally you keep them turned upward for most of the meditation, about 15 min. But don't fight it. Just keep working to lengthen the time you can keep them in that position. Or allow them to fall and relax, but continue to move them back upward again. If you are too uncomfortable it will only distract you anyways.

This is a Kriya yoga technique, their explanation is that it keeps your focus on the third eye to deepen your practice, when you drop your eyes, you can really feel the difference in “states” just do it gently, with no strain, don’t overthink it x

When you start decreasing the counting after the first 10 days do you count down from 50 to 1 very slowly to fill up the 15 minutes or do you get to Alpha , stop counting and just concentrate on your breathing? TIA

Once you achieve counting fewer and fewer numbers to achieve alpha you can use the time to relax and enjoy the alpha state, or this is where you start doing more intentional visualization work.

Thank you so much for this wonderful video! As I'm new to meditation, I have a couple of questions. 1.Any advice on how to try to keep focus during the countdown? Mostly cos I have trouble concentrating. 2. Is it ok, if we do the countdown and the positive affirmation is not done outloud? 3.Is it ok if I don't keep my eyes always at 20 degrees up? From my own personal experience, this is what has worked for me (and may for you): 1. Don't overthink it. Just keep pulling your focus gently back and over time this will get better. 2. The countdown and affirmations don't have to be done out loud 3. Many people find their eyes will drop. 20 degrees is easier to maintain. But if you can't just keep trying to bring them back but also don't overthink it again or get too caught up in "have-tos"

Don't overthink it. Feel into what 2 seconds feels like in your body vs worrying about counting. These methods work best when you release expectation and surrender to the experience.

Yes, you can access theta or even delta. I talk more about it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/haqYdGhmiLyeaKc When you access deeper states of mind you can experience this feeling that you are moving between waking and dream life effortlessly or simultaneously (like lucid dreaming or astral projection). These deeper states are where you might connect with a guide or have some kind of mystical experience.

I have a question. We humans can only listen within the sound spectrum of 20hz to 20000hz, and most of the regular speakers or headphones can’t really reproduce the entire spectrum… How is it that we are actually exposed to this 11hz frequency? That being said, to meditate is great, to do it whilst listening to sounds that can be soothing is great also….

This may sound weird but as I counted backwards from 100 to 0 I felt quite nauseated and had to stop. Anyone else experience this?

That wouldn't make me want to continue either! I'm sorry that was your experience. All of our journeys are so individual and it's hard to know what your body was responding to. It could be the frequencies in the music or it's possible your body was protecting you from accessing a deeper level, or just that it was too overwhelming. It's hard to know but I'd recommend trying a few more times to see what your response is. You could even just skip the counting and just lie peacefully. You don't have to count to get into Alpha. This is just one technique.

Do you have any shorter Alpha sessions with visualization? I do the 30 min but it’s a bit long for 2x daily. Do you have a 15 or 20 min combo with mediation & visualization? I really love your meditations..

Tday it was difficult to keep track of counting backwards. At a certain moment I had my hands holding some eggs n about 2 or 3 of them were dark/blackish colored on the shell. Is this some kind of warning?

Wilma, did you sense any meaning, did it mean anything to you? Often our dreams or what comes to us in meditation can feel scary. But if you look to something like dream interpretation you may find a different meaning. The language of the mind is symbolic. So, for example, one interpretation for eggs is new life and realization of goals. Black could represent mystery, something you don't yet understand, or the subconscious or even emotional darkness. I’m sorry , I love your programs and the Silva Methode but this music is the most depressing, errie I’ve ever heard! There’s got to be more “UP” & positive sound to feed our subconscious???

I'm glad you enjoy other videos on the channel! This is how sound works -- we all respond to it differently. What is appealing to you, may be harsh or even triggering to another.
