Nice vid was raised in Runcorn there when they built the bridge my father and uncle worked on it in Manchester now

The engineering is truly impressive. I have to agree with an earlier comment about the scaffolding costs - it must be monumental !!! I did the Manchester ship canal cruise a couple of years ago and for anyone with even a mild interest in engineering and construction, it’s a great few hours.

I'm not sure about the painting but I know I wouldn't want to pay for that scaffolding 😂. How the hell did they get all that up there 🤔

Mark Rowland possible all three as some touching up would be necessary when scaffolding was removed, and some difficult parts.

why paint this bridge should have just ripped it down as its a starling attraction which is a menace to aircraft going into liverpool
