There’s a lot to be proud of when you can stand back & look at your accomplishments. To have a goal & slowly have it come together. Proud of you John 🤩🤩👵🏻❣️

Simple living wasn’t meant to be done alone. You chose to do it on the hardest difficulty, and in the most difficult environment with terrible soil. I say that as a compliment. If you can do it alone, the the rest of us should be able to do it especially if we have help. You’re the man

Well .. your efforts, your work are going towards you and being reciprocated through others you are teaching about off-grid. Too many good people out there who are working hard and only getting the shaft for their hard work and efforts.

Very inspiring what you're achieving solo in the desert, living with the natural environment, the Frugal simple life is much more satisfying, greetings from the Preseli Hills ,Wales 🏴 UK where we'll never die of thirst, the rain here is a blessing. ❤️ 🍀 😊

You're doing a great job John and living off grid isn't all that easy but I wouldn't have it any other way always something to fix and something to do and the piece you get from not being around people😊

Place is looking good. I like the old saying " keep it simple stupid" you definitely don't need to make things complicated. More working parts the bigger chance it will break down when you need it. 🤔 Hope you have a great day and pet the puppy's for me.

Can you tell me what the setbacks are and how close to property lines you can build ?. I have property in the same county of AZ and can't find good info on the county website on this. I want to get a permit for my small home as well.

It's 10 feet from the side or back as long as your building is under 14 feet tall. If you're over 14 feet tall it's 10 feet plus 50% of the total height. It's further back from the front though and I don't remember how far because I'm no where near the front. You can just call the county. I was only on the phone a few minutes.

@FrugalOffGrid I appreciate the info. Online it keeps saying 50ft from the property line. And when I call the county the phone just rings. Kind of frustrating. But again, I appreciate the help and I already had subscribed. 👍🏾👍🏾

Making ones own decisions is great if you have the willingness and ability (much destroyed by public school indoctrination) to really think. Disconnected people telling us what to do sure gets frustrating if we care about outcomes.
