As an associate financial advisor, I gotta say, Great video! I'm glad you explained the 4% rule like that. And thank you for mentioning fiduciary financial advisors. One small note I'd say is that "financial planners" is pretty much the same thing as a "financial advisor". It's pretty much just up to the advisor and they can call themselves whatever they want. It's annoyingly unregulated. Everybody, listen to what he said about finding a fiduciary financial advisor. Find an independent one, not one that works for a big chain or giant insurance company. @matt if you want to collaborate on a video like tax planning strategies for websites or something similar, lmk.

Thanks Matt for sharing your experience! I’m curious, do you think you would have reached financial freedom by that age if you had stayed in the USA instead of moving to Thailand? Lately, I've been considering the cost of living in the current country you live as a crucial factor in financial freedom, especially for digital entrepreneurs like us who have the flexibility to work from anywhere. It seems like we can leverage this to our advantage. However, I’ve been feeling torn lately. while I love visiting Thailand and other countries, and I get homesick after 3-4 weeks of traveling but the cost of living here (in Canada) is ridiculously high. I keep wondering if I’m making it harder to achieve financial freedom by staying in Canada. Would love to hear your thoughts on this dilemma
