My preference would be that the switch toggle shows which way the loco goes, as you had it before you reversed the wires. That also does away with the LED's.

That’s the beauty of this hobby, you can tailor it to your own preferences.

The thumb-nail picture for this clip made me think it was about some Christmas elves on quad buggies... 😄

I am very impressed with this TTPMS3 switch but it does not change the point polarity which seems to be essential for DCC, is there any way that it can be wired to change polarity without an additional switch.

With 71 points on my layout you think I’m gonna spend £16+ for each switch? Naar I’ll carry on with 1 CDU and 50p toggle switches. Just for info my new favourite point motor is the PM 1 by mtb-model which recently replaced a cobalt. Generally your reviews are A1, thanks

I prefer my Cobalt Point Motors that come with DCC built in. All you do is connect them to your track bus and a wire to the frog from the plug in connection on the Cobalt motor, assign a number and control any number of them through the accessory function of your controller. I can clearly see on the screen of my ESU Ecos which direction each point is set for. Nothing could be simpler, except perhaps some of the Roco points with the point motor and decoder built in and already connected to the track. Those you just install like a regular piece of track.

Do you think its possible to use these simple point controllers, with the dcc ip point motors. At the same time using the Alpha central on other point motors using decoders via the NEC PowerCab? Could this cause a spike to the Alpha central.

Great Video Jenny , A great product but i know component prices and this is GROSSLY over priced , The cost of the components would be no more than £1 and assembly another £2 and packaging £1 so a retail cost of £8 would be realistic , sorry but a RIP OFF .😡

Realistic for what you would like to pay maybe, but at +/- 14 quid RRP divide the remaining tenner between the VAT man, the manufacturer and the retailer and they’ll not exactly be retiring on the margins will they? Back in the real world I’d suggest an innovative product and a very good price.

Jenny will theses switches work with MTB MP5 point motors?

how do you wire the frog on electrofrog points
@JenniferEKirk3 ай бұрын
You would need to use a Peco PL13 switch on the solenoid.
