People really need to stop freaking out over these "predictions". These aren't predictions. They're observations of basic human nature and historical patterns. Creative folks like artists/writers/animators/etc do this literally all the time. The Simpsons is FAR from the first show to "predict" major societal events. Anyone can do it. Literally just put deep thought into the nature of human society for like........5 seconds. It doesn't take spiritual or mystic or psychic powers to predict the future. Just look at the past, look at the present, and say "yup, it's happening again, alright".

The only reason The Simpsons was able to get slightly more detailed with their predictions on Trump becoming president, for example, is because Trump happened to exist in the same time period. They probably didn't even realize it would be Trump, specifically, and were simply using him as a popular reference to a reality TV star in general. It's almost definitely pure coincidence that the popular reality TV star they used as a reference also happened to be the exact realty TV show that actually become president.
