Not a high bar, but I'd still say homer would a father I can tolerate more than peter, and stan from American dad for that matter. Apart from homer strangling me and possibly swinging a mace at me, my odds of surviving are not only higher, but at least I have a dad that while he may make a lot of fuck ups, he has more of a tendency of show remorse for his actions and actually shows a lot more compassion than peter and stan ever could.
