I love how in this episode Homer was genuinely ashamed of his weight and wanted to go on a diet in order to improve his body and for his son. I love how he actually pushed himself to his limits. Without Homer being illiterate I feel like this is a great demonstration of Homer's character.

What Homer lacks in basic intelligence and commonality, he more than makes up for it in character, inner strength and determination. The big man may be a little crazy but he's humbly crazy with a soul of gold; an average man who loves his wife, his three kids, and of course his Duff beer and TV. Golden Age Homer Simpson doesn't get anymore better than that.

I started going to the gym at midnight to lift weights and would walk home every Monday-Friday which would result in over 12k steps. Here I am now, 31 years old and have toned my whole body out! @Riley-ci8ey4 жыл бұрын
@@GalenNight His regimen being mostly strength training instead of cardio has nothing to do with losing subcutaneous fat. Him changing his diet to those apple sauce bars and eating in a caloric deficit is what caused the fat loss. Although he didn't lose all of it, it's clear he's eating in a caloric deficit because he is getting more muscular definition, but still has some pounds of fat to lose, which just so happen to be stored in the stomach.
