I don’t know why, but I dislike Expensive Big Fancy Traditional Mansions in Sims 4. Sims 3 is the best for doing these kinds of houses.

@@Tmdwuyt True, it also has to do with graphics and how things look. Sims 4 is perfect for small cozy houses and family houses.

Could something be added to Sims 4 to make it more attractive for this purpose? Not saying it will happen, but I'm wondering if it's just not having enough styles of items, or something more deeply embedded in the programs.

I have researched a bit, mansions like this don't particularly have a garage in mind, back when this style (victorian mansion) in late 1800 cars weren't invented yet, but i would like to see Brick Mansion renovated to have garage to house a car

Yeah that's true. Many of my "historical" builds are only inspired, not that historically accurate!

It's gorgeous. Reminds me a little of a less unfriendly looking version of Allerdale Hall from Crimson Peak, with its complex nature and many turrets. I find it sad that adding Sims can sort of mess things up. It's just you notice it takes 8 minutes for them to climb a flight of stairs and 12 minutes to pee and 45 minutes to make a bowl of cereal.
