I know this is a few years old now, but I am binge watching all of Jame's sims 3 builds because I am depressed a lot lately, and in a few of them now he's made comments about if you're actually watching it or if you're just listening while doing other things. And I just want to comment that I am watching, very intently. These builds are getting me through this week.

Hey Flabaliki, if you're having that much trouble placing stairs around the new terrain heights or whatever, you can hold ALT while placing them, it's so much easier.

I started watching your Lets Play because I saw Deligracy did a reno of this build and I wanted to see the house and couldn't find this build (because I'm special like that). Anyway - I watched and listed to the whole Speed Build - I always do :) I also wanted to let you know that I've been watching every episode of your Lets Play and will continue to watch it now. I really like it. I do find it funny that you called your sim Aluna and you later create Aluna Island (I think it's after you started the Lets Play anyway). Again - great work. Love the house and the Lets Play :)

This is what you could get in the house, gym (as you said) office, wineroom and when you get kids a playroom :) If you have the sauna, you can even have a luxury bathroom/recreation room. Just some things instead of all the sitting areas.

James, this is, in my opinion, your best house, so far! :P But, I guess there is a difference between building something only for your Sims and building something for everyone to download. You hold alt & if you want things closer for example if you want a counter island connecting with a counter: Counter for a sink or stove & a place to sit and eat: hold CTRL + Shift + C And type: Moveobjects on. to turn it off repeat this but put off..

Oh, I don't remember if I said this or not but when you mention the skylights not showing light inside, the reason they don't let in light like they should is cause of some glitch the Sims creators don't really need to fix... Someone who made the Skylights before there were any on modthesims mentioned his needs to cover 70% or more of the roof/ceiling before light will shine through...
