At least in this one she looks comfortable. Nothing to see, just snoozing on the kitchen floor. And there goes (08:26) another one. The bed ratings are kind of a distraction because they’re so arbitrary. But do try to get the Sims the ones with the best sleep quality. It’d be useful if they just eliminated the sleep ratings so any bed can be used. Actually, there’s probably a mod for that. But otherwise it’s ridiculous, just as you note, it’s like ‘See you tomorrow...in the next century.’ The way she’s just (11:05) hovering in mid-air. re: (10:11) WTF - Shortcut. re: (14:16) ‘How come no one’s leaving for class.’ - Still brawling over the (12:16) waffles. re: (22:06) ‘Why is the rain so loud inside the house. Now I’m outside and can barely hear it.’ - That is sort of odd. re: (22:19) ‘This is the perfect sound of rain. I could go to sleep to this.’ - That one is much more balanced, sort of muted. It’d probably be nice as an ASMR episode. re: (23:18) ‘The foreboding full moon…’ - ‘The Sims 3’ does seem more random than ‘The Sims 4.’ re: (24:12) ‘Why is it so dark.’ - It really is, can even see the lights everywhere but barely any of them are illuminating a thing. One of the frustrating things with ‘The Sims 4,’ as well. Like there’ll be a dozen lights overhead yet pitch dark in the middle of the day. re: (25:07) ‘Befriend cockatoo.’ - That’s cute. Can add birds to ‘The Sims 4’ but only with mods. It could be nice if there was a pack with birds, actually. Parrots and so on, that could be fun. re: (25:20) ‘So cute.’ - It is, cute animation. And, aha, here is the zombie. re: (26:03) ‘He apparently is a zombie, but I can’t interact with him except ask him to pose.’ and: (26:49) ‘I don’t understand the point of the zombie.’ - It’s too bad that the only interaction was posing; it could be interesting to add a zombie housemate. Who’s this now at 27:15, is that the same zombie or a different zombie. Why are they just standing outside by the lawn, like what are they, lawn decorations. Okay, so (27:48) so there were two zombies. Still sort of odd that they’re only poseable. Even odder that they revert back to human form, like it’s fairly consistent across so many iterations that that’s not how zombies work. Still, at least ‘The Sims 3’ actually - has - zombies, so there’s that. re: (27:59) ‘Wasn’t he just a zombie. I don’t think this is like werewolves, where you can be a zombie, then in the morning not be a zombie.’ - Exactly. re: (32:00) Sketching on the lawn - The little sketching animation is cute. Cute episode. Action-packed, plus the questionable zombies.

Omg the whole bed sleep rating thing is so irritating. Like some of the beds, the rating is so low that you literally feel like your entire game is spent watching them flip-flop around in their bed. Your stare going back and forth from watching them toss and turn and then back to the energy bar... Like they may as well be sleeping on the floor. lol And so far, I would have to agree that The Sims 3 definitely seems to be more random than The Sims 4. I really don't understand the zombies. Like it's genuinely thrown me for a loop here. I have to know, WHY are they here?! And in what world do zombies get to go back to being human? Being turned into a zombie is supposed to be an automatic "game over" situation. There's no coming back from that. It's hurting my head! 😂 I loved the random cockatoo. Birds should have been added with the Cats And Dogs pack (should have been a pet pack not just cats and dogs) in The Sims 4. The rodents should have been included in that pack too instead of being in the My First Pet pack. Thanks for visiting! 😊 Your commentary is always so fun.

Lol.’ - The floor probably has a higher comfort level than some of these beds. Know exactly what you mean and it’s really not a necessary feature at all, it should just be removed. It's hurting my head!’ - True, makes no sense; not surprised you were like, ‘What.’ There are recognized ‘rules’ or ‘lore’ connected to zombies, the same way there are with vampires. And one of those is, just as you note, that a zombie remains a zombie. Although in some contemporary films, there’s discussion about a ‘cure’ so maybe ‘The Sims 3’ was just early. Otherwise, no idea why the zombies are there (but can’t interact with them) or why they turn back into humans at sunrise. Think you mentioned it, like they aren’t werewolves (which is a temporary state, according to the ‘rules/lore’ about werewolves). Maybe someone thought it’d be fun to add zombies, they added a zombie, then forgot all about it. Unless they keep shifting realities, or it was a zombie costume, or there’s some new type of zombie. Otherwise it’ll just be one of those ‘The Sims 3’ mysteries. re: ‘I loved the random cockatoo.
