What you said about spiking the drinks - yep, it definitely has a negative connotation, even though it's harmless in a game, also because the consequence is not the same as in real life... but still, it's not the best thing to be inspired by and then put in a game. Thanks for the review! :u

I think the spiking interaction is going off popular American high school films or tv shows when they put alcohol in the punch bowl at prom or something. I don't think it would be aimed at spiking with pills or whatever, so I think the intention from the creators is completely harmless and innocent, although I understand why people wouldn't like this, for me it's not personally a problem as it is only a game. People murder sims all the time without a problem..

Jade Smith But in those cases I think everybody knows the punch has alcohol. The implication here is that the people don't know, that it's a trick. That makes it very problematic. There's also a difference between people who play the gaming killing their own sims, and EA itself putting a drink spiking feature like this in the game. It implies they're condoning that kind of behavior, and that they think it's just a funny little joke, when it's not. It ruins lives.

Jade Smith its still not really ok to trick people into drinking if they arent aware of it. I mean i don't really care much it thats in the game or not. But in real life drinking to much can lead to alot of problems for alot of people, which is easy to do if you arent aware that you are even doing it. Predators often trick women into drinking to much so they would be easier to take advantage of, i understand her issues with the implications. One of the things i like about the sims is its pretty appropriate for all ages. They dont even technically have alcohol in the game they have "juice bars". And while people do kill there sims without a mod you cant actually make your sim a murderer. Killing isnt a normal part of the game play.

Just to clarify I don't agree with tricking people into drinking in real life, nor do I condone any kind of spiking. It was just my general opinion about the thought of it being in the game, and the intention behind EA adding it to the game. Like I said before I understand why people feel it to be a problem, I just personally don't look at it that way.

love your review, as always! I honestly feel like the sims 4 creators need to work harder on male sims hairstyles, and clothes. They are all so "basic" and not up to par as to what the girls are getting (that I love!)

Do a wedding build! All these objects together plus the current items would make an amazing wedding lot. You use an empty lot and just build a hall for a wedding and use it in your LP's I think it'd be A M A Z I N G!

You missed out on the best part of the curtains, pulse panels etc. You need to put them in a dark area and then in live mode, play with the light color and the dimmer switch. Also the bar and cubes are lit. I know that you didn't know (obviously) but you have to check them out! They so cool! Especially in white objects with colorful lights behind them!

The curtain decoration would be perfect to put behind a bed or on the side if its against a wall, its a way of giving the wall a feature without needing to paint it :)

I feel this stuff pack is really quite nice. I especially love those dresses, they're absolutely gorgeous and the first eyeshadow shown is just perfect. I would like to see more eyeshadows like that actually but that's just my opinion. Also, how lovely are those curtains! Thanks for showing it to those who don't have it yet, Deli! Hopefully you've helped a few people decide if they would want it too :D

Really disappointed the fact that you only have 12 ACTUAL stuff for a 'stuff' pack. Don't get me wrong, finally cas items.. more variations yayy! But for 9.99 $ you'd expect your money worth. (Please don't compare Sims 3 first Stuff pack) The entire thing should be around 5$ at most since it's just a digital download.

I don't think you're being a party pooper by pointing out how nasty that drink spiking thing is. It's a huge problem, and shouldn't be taken lightly. People's lives can really be destroyed. I say you're freaking awesome for calling out that kind of thing, cause in my experience, most gamers/KZbinrs don't bother. It's really just cemented the fact that you're becoming one of my favorite gamers!

I really appreciate that note about 'spiking' the drinks that you made. Even though EA uses words like 'nectar' and 'woohoo' to get around adult subjects, doing anything to someones drink without their knowledge is stepping into territory that kids may benefit from learning about but not, you know, engaging in themselves in a video game.

If they are coming out with more stuff packs, I hope they include more stuff for kids in general. And teens too since they look like young adults. Since we got cheated of the heights, I would like something more than just interactions and labels to distinguish them.

I wasn't sold on this at first, but now here I am fawning over the make up & clothes, hahah :P God, the make up looks sooo good, especially the sparkly one at 8:28, and the 2 piece suit looks amazing. I'm really impressed by the different textures too. I thought they'd be way too over the top from what I've seen in the trailer, but they're actually quite nice. I got this pack during a free promotion in May 2023. It was part of a bundle for Epic Games that also included Jungle Adventure and Fashion Street Kit. The bundle was available to be claimed by Windows players but was only available for preorder on Mac during the presale period. Thanks to a workaround I did I am able to play the packs on macOS.

Its weird because a couple days ago Sims VIP said that the content for this pack was leaked and it was pretty much everything the actual pack contained. I think people thought this would have had more things in it just like I did. Honestly it isn't much for ten bucks but I could see why some people would not buy it and deem it "filler content" that you have to pay for. I have to say I was a little disappointed with this pack I really thought there would be more items and at least more outfits considering the female outfits were really nice. I wonder what free update they'll give us in June :o

Hmm I'm not sure I would buy this. They dont have alot of objects, which is what I was mostly looking forward too (can we get some new beds already!). I do like the hairs, especially on the men, but I'm not sure thats enough of an incentive. I did hear they have some new game play options though, I'll have to trounce around and see if any of that makes the game worth it.

you can click on the fancy banquet table and it does the same thing as the table with flowers on it, they both do the same thing so you dont have to move plates onto the fancy one you just have to click it

The thing with the clothes is that I don't like how they combo the colour sometimes. I wish that they had it such that we can actually layer clothes (like pick the shirt and vest separately, for example).

I was quite happy with it. Loving the CAS items. And the buy mode objects are really neat. I don't think they're very niche either, which is good. They seem to be very versatile towards different types of styles. Especially those chairs.

Thank you for your honest review of this. I like that you're not biased and stay honest, even though you're a big sims fan and connected to EA. I'll definitely be buying this one! A tad bit disappointed with the tacky outfits for men, and very little furniture though.

I'm honestly so appalled with TS4 along with the game pack, expansion pack and this stuff pack. I'm personally glad the game didn't sell as well as ts3 and ts2 did, because it doesn't even come close to the how fun they were (IMO)
