I would've loved like a "non believer" trait: sims with it wouldn't believe anything happening is real, would rarely get scared and ghosts wouldn't want to talk to them. Maybe like the toddler playhouse thing where only toddlers can see the squiggles, but only sims without this trait can see the spectors and stuff. That's just me being the only spiritual person in a very "if science doesn't prove it it's not real" household though. This pack looks really amazing and I'm v excited!

A trait like that could cross over into other packs too. Kind of like the supernatural skeptic trait from sims 3. Like if someone with that trait gets a spell cast on them they could get a moodlet trying to explain the change away by blaming it on the weather. Ok im looking to deep into this but I've got a theory. What if Bonehilda used to be a maid that absolutely hated her job. The day she died she was forced into an eternity of servitude as a maid unable to stop or take a brake. At the end of the day this shows how the working class can be trapped in a job they hate by the elite. But seriously though there could be some lore with Bonehilda lol.

When you were looking at the pre-made room, one was called Lady Ravendancer's Seance Parlor, and that is LORE again! Is the actual seance table named after her too? Lady Ravendancer Goth's Book O' Spells was a store item for Sims 3. It was the first magic for Sims 3 before Supernatural came out! I'm impressed Sims 4 found and made that reference!

Sims 1's main neighborhood and Makin Magic by extension are heavily based on the New Orleans French Quarter, and that being Bonehilda's origins it makes sense that they drew heavily from that old style. It's a nod to the voodoo scene in that area.

I read that Kresley Cole book ( A hunger like no other) your Sim’s life reminded of a character except she ( The main Character of the story) was vampire named Emma and her BF/ Kidnapper/ Mate and soon Husband-to-be was a Lycan. I'm kind of disappointed that they didn't do anything with the kids in the Stuff Pack beyond the one or two pieces of clothing and hair. Like maybe randomly have your kids wake up in the middle of the night to stare at their guardians endlessly before going back to bed. Or maybe have the babies/toddlers floating around their room when unattended. Or things going missing or moved around the house the more you climb up the career ladder. I kind of wished they had it where you have a rare chance of one of your sims getting possessed and acting strangely for in-game hours and you can't have control over them. I also wished they give you the option to turn one of those cute little specimen ghosts into familiars if you have the Spellcasters pack. Would have been cool to get that sort of option. Well, at least we have Bonehilda, finally!

the enfield haunting is the seventies because it was investigated by the warrens who were some of the best known and most infamous investigators of the time period who also were involved with annabelle and amityville. the connection to the time period in this pack is most likely directly related to them. Because of their investigations, paranormal investigators and stories in general began to gain more popularity. nowadays films and tv shows are based on the incredible work that this couple did (and whether one believes they were truthful or not, we can all admit that they started a trend in media and real life). also haha I love your videos and i am sorry my mind is like this, i just really like horror

It would have been cool to have an interactive wallpaper that oozes with ectoplasm when a ghost sim is nearby. I haven’t played but having a ‘cursed’ family lineage trait that affects aspirations would be cool. Positive and negative haunting lot traits that appear after using the ouja board while in a good or bad mood (full or low needs bars) that can potentially boost house value, sims emotions and keep homes cleaner, cause faster skill building, faster promotions if it’s a positive haunting, or break thing in homes constantly, higher chance of fires, lower moods, slower energy replenishment as a result of constantly waking up to wander the lot in a trance like state, random mood swings, plants dying, ect for a negative haunting. This would be a personal favorite to work on if I worked at EA ❤️

I'm still skeptical about the gameplay, I watched Lilsimsie's first impression and she made the Pancake house haunted. The light's were turning on and off (that was cool) but it seems it takes time for spectres to appear, only two appeared one at a time and keep disappearing before she even made contact with them.

I'm not sure if anyone pointed this out, but in the Rewards Store section for you sims where you unlock different things with your aspiration points, there's a "Brave" trait you can buy! I just found it while browsing through :)

I not sure how many simmers can recognize the style, but this is really similar to the deep, haunted south style. Like New Orleans and Savannah styles. This makes me feel at home bc I'm from the deep south!
