...I've never seen one of these with a Reverse lever before, lol. I've been seeing the prices of 112w's rising in America these past few months, I guess people are starting to catch on. It never truly received the same fanfare the Singer 111w had, but in denim/canvas circles outside of America (Europe, Japan, etc) it's a household name.

I think the 180 was the only one with a reverse option. And I agree the 112 is the machine for denim!

Ive got a line on a Singer 138w101 that I might go pickup later this week. its needle feed and no reverse, but its a double needle post bed and I have been looking for a DNPB and it looks like its in amazing shape. I really enjoy your videos Derek!

Thanks I think I saw that machine this week for sale If it is the same one, it’s in fantastic shape! If it was closer to me I’d look at it for sure. That’s model is a great model!

@@derekdoeschannel yeah it’s only like 40 minutes from me. It’s currently set up with 3/8” needle spacing but I’ll change that to 1/4”. I’m intending to sew pants with it.

How much different is the mechanism in the arm? Can a regular 112w be modified for reverse?
@derekdoeschannel8 ай бұрын
Hi, that I do not know. I don't think it's easy as otherwise there would be a ton of 112's out there with reverse.

@@derekdoeschannelI'm not opposed to having a machine taken apart and a machinist copying parts
