A loving and forgiving wife and a mother of two young boys repaid by being murdered by three ruthless and greedy people. They created so many other victims such as the boys,the parents of the murder victim and her friends and church associates. Poor June.

Well, you're just looking at her from the outside, and worse than that your view is obscured by her being only described in a few words here and there. Ask yourself, was she a control freak? Was she manipulative bordering on the sociopathic? Did we even get to know her (and what life with her was like) during this brief story? In the end perhaps the biggest point of takeaway was that both of the women in this man's life were, for all intents and purposes, the same woman repackaged. Appearance would lead you to think they were a 'strong woman' while in fact they were the weakest of all weakness. Domineering, cold, manipulative, callous, and most of all bitter. Finally what of the thought of the side story, the gal who blackmailed the guy who she was sleeping with when she was a teen? And what of the 4 children who never got to actually live, because of their decisions and the medical procedures he paid for? Nobody is a winner here, except for a Darwin award.

@spacewater7 Your assumptions come across as misogynistic. If June had been a man would you automatically assume he was cold, callous, manipulative, and bitter, just because he was the more assertive personality? I'm going to assume not. It's genuinely disgusting you'd prefer to jump to the assumptions that she may have been a terrible person, that in some twisted way she had it coming, when she was a murder victim.
@neverlandhunter6988
@neverlandhunter6988 3 ай бұрын
@@spacewater7Also, I'm going to be pedantic because you sound like a moron. Who won the Darwin award? June already had children, and she was the only one killed. Unless you're considering Kim's aborted fetuses the winners? Regardless, though, that's not how Darwinism works.

Thank you for a great video - I enjoy these vintage UK cases! I know Peppard quite well. Two smallish, but interesting NT properties nearby: Greys Court and Nuffield Place. I wonder why they hadn't considered the possibility that someone might stop to help at the scene, before they'd staged it - very remiss of them. Luckily they didn't though, and that Constable Sherlock wasn't fooled!

@@largedoglover99 She didn't have to have an affair with a married man. She had free will. She could have walked away from him at any point. The fact that she didn't means she also deserves some blame for what happened. Under your scenario, she's a mindless puppet solely controlled by men. That's no more realistic than blaming her for everything that happened. All three of them shared the blame, which was obvious from this video.

@@largedoglover99 Yes you should absolutely take responsibility for your own actions, but that goes for everyone in this situation. Every one of these people had the right to say no. Instead, they all went along with it, so they all bear responsibility for their part. That's what taking responsibility for your actions actually means. Not blaming one person and letting everyone else skate. Man or woman you are responsible for your own choices. And clearly you didn't read what I wrote because what you think I said bore no resemblance to what I actually said.

How interesting, I worked at Borocourt hospital and lived in Peppard in the early 80’s but I never heard this story. Great research!

I've been a True Crime fan for 27 years and this first of your videos I viewed convinced me to follow your channel. You're very much like True Crime producers were back in the day: "Just the Facts, and NO Bull Sh!t !!!" True Crime over the years has degenerated into a Soap Opera, replete with the Crying & Blubbering of the Forever Grieving Family left behind. I sympathize with the families of murder victims, but THAT Is Not True Crime. Your style reminds me of Sgt Joe Friday of the 1950's American police show "Dragnet", whose signature utterance was: "Just the facts, ma'am. Just the facts." Carry On !!!

It is frightening how quickly a seemingly stable marriage falls apart. I wonder if we just don't have enough info and this marriage was already damaged, or this husband's obsession with this woman destroyed 3 lives. Makes you think, how stable is my life, Really??

I’m thinking the husband was seduced by the woman and then became obsessed with her! Horrible human beings to rip apart a family and do this to such an innocent person!

You seem like you stepped right out of the past and are somehow a time traveller or something. I associate you with what I picture the 50s or 60s men of England to be and seeing you with Hello Fresh made me chuckle. Like time travel.
