Honestly had to stop playing for a day to collect my thoughts because it's so overwhelming. You really have to play all day to feel like you've made good progress.
@urtoryu_dy_althraidn Жыл бұрын
Not sure if you realized it, but the reason those demi-humans in Keeneth's Fort are hostile is because their queen (the corpse on the ground) died trying to help Keeneth get the fort back. So they either blame him for her death, or the queen was the only one friendly with Keeneth and they have no reason to be too now that she's dead. I really love how tightly knit this questline is, even how Keeneth starts his search as a result of seeing how dab the situation became in his own Fort because of him being away and associating that to Limgrave being without a ruler. Or how Keeneth sounds very arrogant at first, but then you slowly realized he isn't, as even though he's a little off put by you being a Tarnished, he quickly accepts it, he then shows he's willing to have relations with demi-humans, who are treated like animals by most people and lastly he states how Limgrave needs a lord, and yet doesn't volunteer himself even though he boasted of being the next in line, because he doesn't consider himself worthy as he has no royal blood. He is a surprisingly humble and nice guy, despite appearances.

Wonderful episode, Mapo! You're the best at thoughtful and thorough exploreation, even considering blind playthrough. Using your map and markers makes me smile, you'd be surprised how many people just skip that feature. But please for the love of all that is golden, remove that item from quick slot that takes away your runes and teleports you back to the last site of grace. You almost used it while rushed through the trees after litting the last fire at Siofra. That time it wouldn't be much of a loss of course, but it could be one day. You don't want to do this to yourself. lol :D Take care, mate. Can't wait for more Elden Ring from you.

I understand this game is overwhelming and it's imposible to find everything in a blind playthrough, but going in to area where you skip the mobs instead killing them, makes you miss "important" (cool) stuff and bosses, because you're not able to explore it properly, sometimes even NPCs. Like you did both underground and in the castle. Maybe get a bit stronger first and then do it properly. On the other hand, I find it super nice how you try to explain the descriptions of the items in "modern english", which is really helpful for people like me, a nonnative english speaker. It helps to understand that Old English. Thank you for that.
@Mapocolops2 жыл бұрын
When I go through an area for the first time, I always revisit and explore again to find new things I don’t just move on and leave it. Structuring an episode for a let’s play is different from just playing off camera by myself because I have to create something out of it, not just walk around silently exploring for hours. It’s a bit different for me than it is for you :)
@LuckbeaSladey2 жыл бұрын
You definitely have the feeling of being able to go anywhere. I do wish there were difficulty scaling with the enemies. Meticulously exploring everything is making me overleveled. I don’t want to forgo leveling up, because it’s one of my favorite mechanics. I’ve decided to forgo picking up runes when I die. It’s not the best solution because gettin back to your stuff is one of those mechanics I enjoy.
