Thank you bro I really appreciate you. I made the mistake of not shooting the entire video in anamorphic. I delivered it in 17:9 so I just tried lazily to make the anamorphic fit. Next time I’ll just shoot the entire with the adapter.

In this video I probably did honestly since I delivered the video in 17:9. I didnt shoot the A-Roll of myself or or B-Roll of adapter in Anamorphic. Shot it in 17:9

Great review (except for the desqueezed look you also discussed in the comments). You mentioned you shoot open gate (3:2). I’m also planning to do the same on the to-be-ordered X-S20, in 6.2k. I’d use the lens to get an almost 17:9 end aspect rate. That is, I’d like to use it as a poor man’s 8k camera for 8k work. How would you rate the optical quality of the adapter at such high a resolution? I take - as you mentioned you love open gate - you also shoot 6.2k.

The quality of the adapter is really good. I like it a lot. There is a bit of chromatic aberration but it’s not a big deal for me.
