The sisters are very ,very young, with two young boy gorillas, and they share D’jeeco . I am glad Ringo didn’t get hurt and there will more fights until they mature. The next time they fight with Ringo not on his mother’s back it will not be not good. Hey, this is what they do . I love ❤️ the family and I hope no one get hurt in the future. Peace ✌️

Tayari has really bad food aggression. Every time this happens it's when Iriki gets too close to Tayari's food. It's always near where they get fed, which makes it a territorial thing in my opinion. Tayari was eating lettuce near the gate earlier and as soon as Iriki got close she was attacked. Iriki is going to fight back with Ringo on her back.

You don’t see any food aggression at Ueno Zoo there is always an abundance of food. This Zoo however seems to foster a competitiveness which I don’t like an I think causes much of the friction

This is the first actual standing-up fight, from the get go, that I’ve seen between the sisters. There were many rough wrestling matches when Ringo was tiny and clinging to Iriki’s belly-sometimes he would nurse through the whole thing. And there have been sort-of-fights, with Tay escalating wrestling into attacks, or when she looted Ringo and Iriki was trying to get him back. DJ always took her to task. And there was one time Iriki was exhaustedly fed up with both sister and Jabali, got a little rough with J, and Tay attacked. But this is the first out and out brawl I’ve seen that didn’t start off with play or over babies. (Bearing in mind I only see minutes of their days.) It did appear though that after the big looting about 6 mos ago when Tay went flying over the cliff with Ringo, Iriki completely wrote off her sister, leaving nothing between them but tension in the air.
