I think what happened is that Tayari had food aggression. Iriki has been really bold lately with stealing food from D'jeeco. Not right out of his hands, but food in a pile that he's eating from. Iriki probably tried to do the same thing with Tayari and Tayari was not having it. The only time I see Tayari get this aggressive with Iriki is over food or over Jabali. It looks like D'jeeco was going after Tayari because he saw her as the aggressor. It's his job to calm down members of the family to create peace.

The way they feed these gorillas is ridiculous. Why would you be passing food through bars like this when we all know gorillas behaviour around food. Tayari is sitting there blocking Iriki being able to get food. All the food should be in that area before they let the gorillas in. Was one time where it was probably their worst fight, Djeeco bit both of them but Iriki got worst of it for chasing Tayari and biting her quite a bit, Djeeco caught up and gave her some serious bites and she eventually rolled down a small hill. D'jeeco bit Iriki real bad everytime he had to deal with her so Iriki said forget that and she would just ignore Tayari's bullying. Tayari is a smart bulley she would stalk Iriki and keep an eye on D'jeeco's ware abouts at all times. A beautiful family. I love Tayari and Iriki. It does not amuse me to pit one sister against the other. And my hope is that the videographer is not all about ratings. These are beautiful beings with their own personalities and sensitivities and as far as Dejeeco. He has blind spots being the silverback and repressing the wrong sister. Think the Zoo creates a very competitive environment regarding food. There’s always an abundance at Ueno an you never see disputes about food. Also the Momotaro group they feed separately so think this Zoo could do better to avoid.

現在母猩猩已經不像以前相處很好會玩耍，自從各自都生了小猩猩脾氣都變了，我們看到視頻在打架都會怕何況兩隻小寶貝都會嚇到，工作人員都知道在室內要分開餵食，每次都看到迪亞哥教訓咬住Tayari而且Iriki現在變得很會吃每次看視頻都是在找吃的不然就是吃大便，更可怕搶奪J寶食物跑得很快又粗魯難怪J寶看到阿姨也會閃躲。

There is something wrong with whoever is captioning these videos. Iriki’s personality is of calmness, gentleness, and avoiding confrontation, but she does need food for her and her baby. If you will open your eyes you will see that every feeding time Tayari stations herself and her son blocking the door so Iriki can’t get to the food without there being a confrontation. Just watch the videos. Iriki has no choice. If she wants any food from this particular door she has to grab it from Tayari’s grubby fist. Go back and watch.

Omg this was very aggressive on both sides. This happens when zookeepers give one gorilla more food than another and show preferences or either by mistake, by negligence, by favoritism or carelessness. Please These two mothers with their respective babies must be fed separately and the doors closed, because human error can be devastating for this family of gorillas. Where is equality and respect for these animals. that should not happen because it could be deadly for one of the babies or even one of the mothers. you can see Ringo running very scared. D’jecco always protects Iriki, I think it's because he has a smaller baby or because Tayari respond aggressively. D’jecco is a wonderful leader always present and attentive to anything. It seems very good to me that he does not allow these sisters to attack each other. Some, as always, are only concerned about Tayari, but I remind them, that they are two sisters and two babies and that the only thing it shows is the true feelings of some human beings. And I do not want to disrespect anyone, but it is my humble opinion of what I have seen in the videos that the channel uploads.

So true, this time it wasn't Tayari fault. But that is one thing Djeeco doesn't waste anytime on stopping any dispute between the sisters. I just had complimented about DJ and Shabani male gorllias males on another another site that the male doesn't act accordingly when things happen like this in his family. That's why I love watching these 2 families the most. I love how both fathers play so much with their childern and watch over them and they still respect the mama's they tease them sometimes but the mama's will put the papa's in place when they don't want to be bothered.

Alina, I have replied so many times about the favoritism the zoo keepers have for Tayari. The evidence is proven in this current video. The zoo keepers whether it's Tayari's keeper or not. This unequal ratio of food must stop. As I have been asking in the previous video how do I address this issue of favoritism I notice n feedings I saw it in plain sight. Tayari is given more food and given different kinds of food. It's not right. What I saw in today's video was frightening and anyone of those gorillas could have been seriously injured. So, I'm asking if the video recorder would find out who I need to contact to look into this matter and get quick action to please stop the favoritism among these gorillas before one of them is seriously injured. But, the one thing that saddens me the most is the very small enclosure that the family of gorillas have. You would think that they would have a planned better for bringing gorillas into their zoo. They have such a small enclosure I just can't understand. It just sickens me that they have no where to run, no where to forge, no trees to climb, no grass to roll or play in. I love watching the Djeeco family forgoing and going into the comfort of their caves away from our prying eyes.This zoo planned well for their gorilla family and not just one side they have two well planned sides that they switch them to. Unlike the Momotaro family I love the family but, there is behavior problems between mother and older son and the father. Gentaro or his father have no where to really run let out some of that aggression. They get fed well but they need room. These majestic animals God created to roam the forest and jungles not to be inclosed in a boxed area. 🤪Sorry about being so🤭 long winded. Thanks again for helping me understand about Momotaro.🤗

感覺Ringo受到很大驚嚇💗～😥 好像前面Tayari 已經有拿到很多吃的，後來Iriki進去，不知發生什麼事，Tayari 就打牠了（或是互相打？），然後Iriki還ㄘㄨㄚˋ賽的樣子～ 當然兩個媽媽都不要受傷啦～ 讓兩個小孩子這麼擔心受怕🦍🦍～🥺 D'jeeco 適時隔開牠們兩個，其實我覺得這樣處理是對的。牠也沒對Tayari 怎麼樣啊～ 畢竟這事感覺是牠先發動的，所以我們就別猜測太多，或對Iriki有什麼批評，這樣就有失公道了吧～

1:40 Oh dear the lady wives are at it again. Looks like Tayari was getting the majority of the food, and Iriki decided to show up and forcibly "borrow" some from Tayari 😳. Of course D'Jeeco had to abruptly halt his meal to re establish order. Ringo was like, "Ugh...here we go again" and took off. Poor thing I was worried he'd get poop on him from mom Iriki 💩. Anger was coming out of her from every crevice 😤😡. Tayari got a good scolding bite from Jeec 😒. It should be standard that meals should be separated to prevent the lady wives from cat fighting, which they have been doing quite frequent. Tayari is feisty, period, and Iriki has been generally somewhat not as social with her sister lately, and one trigger hair away from being on guard to put Tayari in her place.

I love D'Jeeco but he was in the wrong this time. Poor mom, she looks so sad and shaken up.and yes I agree with one of the viewers, the keeper gave more food to one of the moms, that caused the fight.

The film cut/ put on pause and the first part was missed, also the focus was put on Ringo who ran when the fighting actually started. I saw Iriki stop and take a step back after that they were fighting. It's not normal for Iriki to start a fight with Tayari. D'jeeco was in the room or came in another way. I blame the Zookeepers, was it feeding time or was thus extra food time for Tayari. Usually that gate is closed and only one gorilla at a time can be in the feeding room at a time with one child. WHAT HAPPENED !! That's why Iriki stopped and took a step back, she knew the door should have been closed. Iriki was shocked that Tayari was in there because the door was opened. The other enterances were opened too and D'jeeco came in and saw them fighting. I don't know who started the fighting because the film was cut or stopped then started when fighting took place. I did see Iriki fighting her way back to the enterance and Tayari fighting with her all the way. That is what D'jeeco saw too and that is why he attacked her first.

I agree, though not everything was on video. Iriki walked into the wrong place at the wrong time, but I’d bet that Tay started it. Iriki starts nothing, and she was fright-pooping and peeing, yet-good girl!-holding her own. Ringo knew something was coming and he doesn’t run from Iriki. In the end, it looked like he was willing to get a face full of poo to help mom! Sweet. DJ was surely able to decipher what happened by differentiating their vocalizations, which we can’t.

While we were not shown what went down the video photographer who captured the footage titled this video “Iriki wants to grab food and fight Tayari” so I find your comment pure BS Kate and in my opinion reeks of favoritism. Iriki isn’t this meek gorilla who doesn’t start nothing. I’ve viewed numerous videos where she has taken food from D’Jeeco, Little J, Ringo and intentionally/maliciously had interactions with Little J that were far worse than Tayari ever had with Ringo. Don’t bother responding as I no longer want to have any interactions with you. ☮️

This video is incorrectly titled. I didn't see Iriki trying to grab any food in the video. This almost reminded me of the time when Tayari came at Iriki from inside the cave,mouth opened. Iriki didn't see her in the cave at first and swiftly moved away from her. Iriki has never shown aggression towards Tayari only when Tayari has crossed the line with her.
