That's the kind of life I want when I am elderly. I want to be surrounded by Sisters and have the daily life of prayer. I want a home like that, but I will likely be put into a skilled nursing home with no Sisters and limited access to the Sacraments... assuming that there is no repeat of the lockdowns of 2020. If that happens again, then I would be forced to forget about ever seeing a Catholic priest. Let us pray for the elderly, the sick, and the dying that they will be able to have the comforts of faith in their final days. There needs to be more Sisters like these.

If interested in religious life I can attest that you could not find a more loving vocation; I visited the Dominican Hawthornes at Rosary Hill in February 1995, and so glad to see you Mother Marie Edward. Truly they are angels on earth. I still pray for you all and your patients, and for the cause for canonization of Mother Mary Alphonsa. God bless you all!

End of life care is very stressful ....but at the same time rewarding. A true blessing if you can deal with these situations, day in and day out. I was my mom's caregiver the last years of her life........I thank God for that opportunity often.

I volunteered there two years ago. This experience changed the trajectory of my career and made me want to work in palliative care. I LOVE THOSE SISTERS. I live in Atlanta and they also have a sister home- Our Lady of Perpetual Help. They do amazing work!!!!!!!! God bless these nuns.

Dear Sisters, Thank you for your beautiful work, full of love. This video reminds me of what our pastor has said of his visits to the sick and dying elderly he visits in his hospital and nursing home visits, that he often thought it was it was the most spiritually meaningful time of their lives. I am 70, in pretty good health, and I want to become involved in serving so many older people in our parish and elsewhere who are alone and isolated.

Godbless these sisters. Hopefully there will be more vocations soon. I pray everyday for vocations within the Catholic Church so hopefully it happens soon, as I do see many young Priests becoming Catholic in USA and around the world lately so hopefully this will happen for the women to become Nuns too. Maybe Nuns from different countries will help fill the void too. Maybe a training program for young Nuns too so they can at least get experience in this field of work Godbless 🙏🙏🙏

Whom cares for the Sisters that care for the dying? Hopefully they have a strong team around them. Some of my friends are Nurses and they have it rough, another friend that worked as an Orderlie / Porter broke down mentally and emotionally after seeing all the fates of people, especially sick Children, can't imagine what these Sisters go through.
