Yes, everything is very different. Never been, but have been watching Chernobyl videos for 18 years. The explosion was a scary situation, but there was still a air of hope surrounding Pripyat somehow, now it just feels very haunted...

Good to see some newer footage of the Zone. There wasn't much up to date content the last years obviously. Interesting to see the car graveyard with the Joker etc. I thought they got rid of all that? man i always wanted to be there but i am heart broken looking at chernobyl today its lost its very strange isolated/lost in time nature. it was an untouched city, but now 😞 the russians have definitely destroyed the feel of the place i can't describe this in words. i wanted to experience the city lost in time but when i actually get a chance to land foot on chernobyl the city has lost its charm and has lost its isolated untouched nature.

Oh man I’m so glad I came across this channel again. I randomly came across these guys videos over 2 years ago when they were trying to scuba dive in the Chernobyl water. The short one, Sus, tried doing it with a friggin fish bowl on his head.😂 But then I didn’t remember the name of their channel and haven’t come across anything from them since, and when Russia invaded Ukraine I couldn’t stop thinking about these guys. Those trenches are much worse than I expected from the few overhead shots that came out. What they showed were vehicle fighting positions, but not personnel trenches and living accommodations. That spot isn't officially in the Red Forest, but across the road where the boys started off is. It was hit by the same plume that made Yaniv Station so hot a few hundred meters away. It was safe enough to walk across without lingering, but digging even a few inches below the surface was insane. It was also on the main route the stalkers used, and there really isn't a good route around it. Hope the Russians did get to suffer a bit for this, along with everything else.
