Absolutely floored by how wonderful this is! Somehow cuts the roots and then replants them? Many many thanks for sharing this freely with the world. Wow.

I am blown away having just "happened upon" this. Now I know I have some kernel of real merit, to have been so "lucky" - Maybe my precious cat who passed 3 weeks ago.....I thought I was prepared for impermanence, My heart broke. Showing no results of years of contemplation of Death. Can somebody tell me who this wonderful being is? The most explicit spoken description of Tibetan Dharma I've ever heard - in exquisite, (non-native?!!) English.... I prostrate to Enlightening energy. Rigpa - in my face - thank you for generously sharing your wonderful realization!! I bow to selfless bearers of Wisdom...and Bodhicitta!

Homage to Samantabhadra. Homage to James Low, whose mind is indistinguishable from Chimmed Rigdzin.

@Brad Bryant A quick comment if l may? Whilst you may well be right to reframe them in that way, it could bring a lot of confusion along with it ( Lots of new age stuff like choosing this universe, where did the beings come from, dead ends as regards suffering and it’s end) so maybe that’s why it is left in traditional form?

Dear James, Aren't the "God" and Jealous God" realms (at least form realm) really intelligent "ETs" (described by, Buddha, using "expedient meanings", intentionally) out of skillful means, to work within the Brahmanical culture of his time? I know it's not "important", other than giving us a clearer understanding of the "Myriad Worlds" we will experience within Samsara as Bodhisattvas? Why doesn't anyone address this, esteemed teacher? It seems so clear to me. (This WASN'T a central thought during - or much afterward... this fantastic teaching! Trivial, yes....forgive me!_ I added it as a quick afterthought...)
