Thanks for posting this! I saw the segment on Last Week Tonight, and said "Oh. I should go (re)listen to ep 105!" And then it came to me instead. It's a sad thought.. but it made me think how uncorrelated "respectable" and "president" have become. They used to be very correlated, but they now seem completely unrelated.

It was a thrilling moment in our (relatively) young podcasting careers to have the opportunity to speak with a US president. And it was fascinating to hear his resolve all those years after the 1969 incident ... he stood firmly on his recollections 38 years later, with nary a thought that he could possibly have been mistaken.
