Poor Simba. I hope by now he has recovered from his terrible ordeal. What a horrible thing to do - injure the poor cat then just throw him away like he was rubbish. Some people really are vile and disgusting. That said, for every bad person there are at least 100 good, decent, kind people.

It is a real struggle rescuing especially on limited income. In Amarillo TX (US). People toss out the cats and dogs unvetted. I have so many now because the rescues here failed me with placing the cats when they were ready. 5 litters and their mommas. They were on a list with rescue but nothing. I only have 5 young ones and two mommas left to spay. I struggle daily because I don't want to have to put them outside but spring comes and I will have to do something, heartbreaking 💔.
